On the topic of slop-chain wings, I came into possession of a gift card for Buffalo Wild Wings not too long ago and gave them a try for the first time in years. B-Dubs wings remain kinda gross, their sauce remains decent but the real surprise was that their regular chicken tenders are actually pretty good and extremely inexpensive. You could do worse.

There's a Wingstop that I pass often and it always reeks of shit, that wasn't the case when it first opened like 8 years ago so who the fuck knows why that place became such an olfactory hazard and I won't be taking a single step inside to find out why.

I'd be shocked if those chicken tenders didn't show up frozen on the back of a Sysco truck, so that would make sense.

As for Wing Stop, I've tried them a couple of times and haven't since. Just not my thing.

Thank God, people like you exist. I always feel like a decadent little fag when I get 20 wings DRUMS ONLY. I assumed that I was causing so many chickens to die for nothing and get wasted and left behind. I may now eat my fried slop with a clean conscience.

I've been to my local shop 3 times in the past 5-ish years since they opened. Each visit was generally the same and my reaction each time was "Eh, I guess. Could've had a pizza, or chinese, or taco bell."

Quality: 3*. Average amount of meat on each wing. Good split of flats and drums. Little to no breading.
Sauce: 2*. Good variety between teriyaki, mango, chipotle, and diablo styles. Too much corn syrup though makes everything sweet and sticky.
Convenience 1*. My wait time was over 20 minutes on each visit, and inventory was running low. Out of boneless? Really? Even some sauces ran out.

Someone mentioned fries. I had some kind of garlic, cheesey fries and they seemed pretty good. Tasty pub food you would want with a beer. And that is the key point. This is pub food without the pub. If you want some wings & fries you go to the local pub, have a couple beers and get your greasy fried food.

Wingstop is simply separating the kitchen from the pub.
