My goal is to not use AI. My Woggy is to be created using human heart, human mind, human talent and MS Paint. My initial idea was to introduce the Narrator who's drunk and half-asleep, so he can't keep the story straight (wink, wink) but then I realized that it would be just repeating the same joke all the way through the story so I decided against it and instead I'll try to fix most glaring issues with the story.

The Narrator stays (there are some retarded things that need to be explained and I already have a sprite for him) but he'll be less involved.

I think you should do somewhere in between. The foundation of cynthia's woggle empire is boring and tedious paint by numbers childrens stories starting an annoying and pretentious bug, I think a drunk and disinterested narrator fits perfectly. Don't think of it as repeating a joke, instead think of it as playing a character and take some liberties due to that.

That's my idea. I want to use the narrator for some meta-commentary about the story being shit but if I adapted it 1:1 it would be completely incomprehensible. The script is really bad: scenes out of order, scenes repeating themselves with minimal alterations, characters not acknowledging past events.
