Add on top of this that the Washington Post is about to do a bunch of layoffs and you start to wonder if she knows she is likely to get the axe and is prepping for her next move.Taylor, being oblivious and herself, tweets this banger.

TayTards I don't feel so good...
You can catch a pathological liar red handed and they will still lie to your face without fear or shame. Lorenz has been protected and rewarded for her behavior up to this point, so there's no incentive for her to stop. It will be interesting to see if WaPo has the balls to finally dump her crazy ass during their upcoming layoffs.Truly remarkable. She has absolutely no self awareness. None. Maybe in her old age she is just going senile?
It would be glorious if she lost her perch at WaPo. I imagine she’d lie and say it was her choice, then remind us how she’s been pushing her Substack newsletter for months and say that this was always the plan. Related, imagine how excited her editors would be to be rid of her? I’m sure she’s 10x as much work as any other reporter, and what’s worse is that her “beat” is absolute drivel. You can catch a pathological liar red handed and they will still lie to your face without fear or shame. She's already gotten people above her fired before, which to me is insane. These people look at it like resume enhancersIt would be glorious if she lost her perch at WaPo. I bet she literally thinks this doesn't describe the New York Times and Washington Post. Let alone her own reporting like writing about obscure Twitch streamers who failed to take down obscure forum the Kiwi Farms or reprinting press releases from disgraced and fired DHS internet hall monitors.
"Tech columnist" Taylor Lorenz can't figure out how her personalized trendings always show content about her, a subject she can never stop engaging in. Decides it must be proof Twitter is over.Hmmm...what's going on here? Looks like people were remind of past behavior...

Just add the missing word: criticism.
What's the "funny" part supposed to be here? This tweet is basically gibberish.
Look if TayTay went to a Public HS she could post a picture of it.Cow crossover.

She didn't attend a Swiss boarding school, and she didn't study abroad there, she just visited!

Notice how Taylor always hedges her denials by including an extraneous detail that allows her to "deny" it without lying. Even for pathological liars, lying is still unpleasant and difficult to keep track of. Whenever possible, they will do half-denials that allow them to shift the focus to nonessentials that they believe will give their story greater credibility. No one uttered the phrase "European elite," but by choosing that phrase, she can deny that she was a member of the European elite without having to address the fact that she was a member of the American elite. Even THEN she can't bring herself to directly deny; she simply adds an emoji on the end to make it seem ridiculous. But she is just repeating the claim (the truth) and hoping that her tone will convey a denial without having to OUTRIGHT CLAIM IT'S FALSE.
She also does this with "I never COVERED Claudia." Whatever she means by covered in her own mind is different than our definition, so she can saw that confidently without lying, in her view.
The original "Swiss boarding school" tweet is so funny when stacked against her recent tweets. Back then, it was admirable and desirable for her to graciously lay down her privilege and acknowledge it. Now it is not beneficial for her to have grown up with a silver spoon in her mouth, so she now uses "public school" "U.S." and "union worker" to make herself seem more working-class.

This take is dangerously close to denying the need for medical transition!
To be fair, so are most of us in this thread, but the stupid bitch just keeps yammering on and on."I'm sick of hearing about myself" D O U B T.
TayTay needs to learn to stop snitching on herselfTo be fair, so are most of us in this thread, but the stupid bitch just keeps yammering on and on.
Tay Tay, honey, baby, you dont have baby cheeks you have bulmia cheeks you fat cow, go eat another quart of ice cream while crying, itll make you feel better before you toss it up like you do every week.
It reminds me of that article a while ago written by a woman who was assmad about her Trump-supporting neighbors plowing snow out of her driveway without being asked.
I would put all that snow back as an extra fuck you. There was one a while back, written by a black man, where he was furious that his white neighbors shoveled out his front walkway without being asked. It was white supremacy, see, because they were just assuming that he wasn't going to do it himself. Which he probably wouldn't have, because black and lazy go together like chicken and waffles. Damn white people and their (checks notes) doing nice things for other people!
