Well one of the streamers referenced in the game was accused in the Great Metooing of Twitch streamers.

Even if he defends himself successfully I wonder if the item will be removed just to save the developers the headache of Twitter people calling them rape apologists.

I've been playing for a while now and I love most of the updates they've made so far. Terraria was a goodass game before, but now it feels so polished I can't think of going back to older builds.

The only thing I'm not okay with so far is the werefox npc. She's clearly there for furry bait if you ask me.

edit: btw updating this ancient ass thread yet again to mention the newest update. coming out soon, 1.4.4 being dropped as a way to say thanks for the devs winning the labor of love steam award. heres a video featuring some of the changes

shame theres not a ton of new content but damn, 4 versions past the "final" update and the devs are still pumping out updates because of their love for the game. very admirable imo

I think they've been calling each update "the last update" since 1.2 IIRC.
Anyone else been playing a lot recently? Seems like everyone has it on Steam but hardly play it.

Waiting for a new patch to start a new playthrough. I'm not autistic enough for building elaborate stuff, so there's nothing else for me to do once Moonlord is dead.

Too bad that lead dev is forcing everyone to play the game in his own autistic way instead of having shortcuts for people that want them (reaver shark nerf, distinct hardmode fishing crates, fucking torch luck).

And why is goblin army still gated behind 200 hp? None of the other events or bosses are.

Now his mod is removed and somehow I don't think that's going to make him hate turtle island any less. I hope he gets some social credit for that rant at least.

Also I forgot terraria existed for a few years there, watching this thread and reinstalling I have great memories of this game. Thank you community happenings and random angry asian man.

I mean, most of what he's saying is 100 percent true (except for the bits defending China, they're just as guilty of the things he's complaining about, and in some cases they're far worse).
