There is something hilarious with UE being slapped on top of Gamebryo just to half ass "modern" graphics while the original engine remains completely inaccessible.
Bethesda will turn Gamebryo into a black box that will act as the nuclear core for every game engine and game they'll release for the next hundred years.

It gives me GTA definitive edition vibes as the games might run on advance graphics but didn't take in the art style account. At least they are not applying the same graphical style overhaul on three style different entries like the GTA remaster did.

I'm still just not understanding why I would buy or pirate a 120GB copy of Oblivion that runs like shit when my vanilla-plus HD mod folder comes out to less than 40GB and runs like sunshine and roses.
