Minnesota has a law that prevent a person's case from being searchable by name until a conviction/judgement has been entered. You need the case number to find it in the online public record search.
It's a weirdo Minnesota thing. Cases don't show up in a search by Defendant name unless and until a conviction. It's probably somewhere either in court rules, or maybe even a statute.
I had this problem months ago concerning April's speeding ticket. It's also why news of the traffic offenses were all delayed.
