Something I've seen the most is Piccolo from DBZ being black-coded, I agree with that. If he was a human, I can see him being black.

I've never seen anyone draw a white human Piccolo, I'm sure it exists though.

An AI app is far easier to deal with and much faster than a temperamental neuro-special furry artist who breaks down in tears at the smallest slight.

I can actually personally confirm this, because one of the "new age" furries interacted with my lolcow, and said furry was basicly canceled from all group chats on telegram and even had their account removed from bluesky over a single video posted.

I found out about Softpaws because of Encyclopedia Dramatica's page on Dragoneer. Then I found out it was basically just an open secret and people were just ok with it or turned a blind eye. That was a fun time *sigh*

I have never been to a convention, but this wouldn't shock me based on what I know about how things were back then. Very "don't rock the boat" approach to things, and look where that got us? Now the boat won't stop spinning and throwing random people overboard because the (even more insane) lunatics took the wheel.
