More specifically, I think many of the more conservative-minded patrons of the Internet were once free-spirited liberals until something turned them conservative. Be it child drag shows, or the rebranding of pedophiles to "Minor Attracted Persons", or watching lazy do-nothing chimps complain on social media about not getting enough gibsmedats... most of us were idealists like Will at some point in our lives, became jaded, and coupled with his youthful appearance, it activates a sort of protective older brother instinct. "Awww, baby bro just figured out jews run the world." or "Awww, baby bro just found out that the side of 'tolerance and compassion' is neither tolerant nor compassionate." That sort of sentiment.
