Bashir is a "sincere" Muslim, but he follows a contemporary Islamic movement called "Islamic Neo-Traditionalism" by mentioning saif.systems. On the internet, these same people are also shilling SAIF, which is an attempt for them to get in the good graces of the terminally online right-wingers, especially the esoterist and accelerationist ones.

Basically, Bashir is a muslim version of the chronically online trad-Cath LARPer.

Mohammed brought it, I don't know exactly what was being discussed, he was in Bedroom with Bingobongo and I think Emma, and brought it out and gave to one of the Twins, and then TTS said they should go freak out the people in Confessional with it.

interesting, I haven't really been paying attention to what he has been saying. this would explain why he has been doing things that are considered haram in standard islam. however the whole thing not being an elaborate bit that he crafted before the show, but an actual set of religious tenets, only strengthens the observation that he is a hardcore narcissist IMO. I really don't think he believes in any of this shit deep down, it's just a tool for him with which he can meticulously craft how people see him. it would have been a lot more respectable if he was completely clueless and it was obviously all a joke that he came up with. instead, it's just pitiable behavior.

Charity has worked herself into a panic attack. The combination of the surreal environment, drinking a bit much, probably exhaustion (especially since she's been yapping for hours straight), and now everything getting weird because she's worrying everyone while she fixates on all that--it makes sense, but I'd hate to see her leave over it as it will pass. She needs to sleep is all.
