With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

If I learned one thing from the Depp trials is that the random nobodies that cling onto famous people are complete fucking nutcases.

Sooooo this might get interesting, if the whole 'known Bam for 10 years' thing is true.

Day 3 recap!

Morning (1:30 AM to ~Noon):
  • Very early AM (1:30 AM - 2 AM) as the fish were drinking, Charity overdid it a bit and talked herself into a panic/paranoid attack. She became convinced that she had been drugged by someone and has a bitter taste in her mouth. She refused to drink even bottled water out of paranoia.
  • Not long after, around 2:15 AM, she went back to drinking shots despite claiming to have been drugged by the liquor. She does another 2-3 shots with production and according to posts here, another 2-3 or so after.
  • She brings her bags out to the glassroom and spends nearly an entire hour rummaging through them. She finally falls asleep around 3:30 AM.
  • Cameras go down around 10 AM. This ends up being because the Mexican contractors they hired for something put a shovel through their fiber optic line and severed their internet connection. The rest of Day 3 was only director cam (and 2-3 relevant others at any given time) on the website, because they were forced to use their backup Starlink connection.
  • Around 10:30 AM, Charity wakes up. She is still shaken up about the "drugging". Staff and the other fish talk to her, but she is convinced she's done.
  • At almost exactly noon, Charity brings her bags to the basement door and exits the tank. She is the second elimination (~49 hours).
There was a bit of a break in content because of the camera situation. Things steadied out around 3:30. (~3:30 PM to ~Midnight):
  • Fish were given their jobs again, this time by Jet. Landon got JANITOR and Emma was LATE SHIFT in the Market. Everyone else got new jobs, like PICKPOCKET (steal $10 and don't get accused until tomorrow, Anisa), or GRAVITY VICTIM (make a spill the JANITOR has to clean, Bashir).
  • Landon drops the first hard-R NIGGER, accidentally. He got a fortune cookie from "Nigius Bigir" and pronounced it as "nigger-y". This was followed later by Bingo reading a fortune from Fishtank user "@Nigger", which she read out loud.
  • The fish turn in their jobs to Ben. Vicky receives $11, Bashir receives $9, JD receives $20, Bingo/Bongo receive $14, and James Drake received $19.
  • Bam arrived and the fish were treated to DINNER AND A SHOW. Food was catered in for them, and they watched a harpist perform in the bar. Almost everyone just ignored the harpist and instead chatted with Bam about Landon's severely limited eating habits and some weird alphabet that Bam made up while in rehab for years.
  • Between food being served and the performance, the first NARRATIVE POLL went up. James Drake won "BEST DRESSED" and was rewarded with $6!
  • After the show ended, the fish were called into the dorm for a "super fast announcement". The elimination that was coming tomorrow (highest STOX gets to choose a fish to eliminate) has been CANCELLED due to the very early loss of Bezo and Charity. Instead, sometime tomorrow, the highest STOX fish will be made IMMUNE to a FUTURE elimination. NO ELIMINATION tomorrow.
  • The hookah was lit, and the fish chatted in the Glassroom for about an hour.
  • The fish were then called into the Dorms for a new game. The audience would be polled on the website for various questions, and the fish had to predict what the majority of the audience would vote for. Each correct prediction was $1.
  • Bam hung out for a while after the game. Jet made an announcement that SFX playing over conversations is annoying and not funny, so they refunded all SFX in queue and turned it off for the night. They will "find a balance". TTS remained on.
  • The director cam randomly cut to a night-vision view of a Tiki themed room that hasn't been open yet for about 30 seconds, likely a teaser.
  • Bingo/Bongo were pulled into confessional for a very rapid fire Q&A from the $100/mo Basement chat. I tried my best here but the questions were literally seconds apart so I couldn't get them all.
  • The first freeloader was added to the house at about 11:30 PM. His name is "Head". Continuing with the theme of nicotine addiction, he is a three pack a day smoker that must now earn his nicotine like the rest of the fish. He appears to be a good friend of Bam, and has mentioned having a history with him as far back as a decade.
What I've got for Day 3 before bed, right up to midnight. As usual, if anything is wrong or happens later, reply to this and I'll fix it in the morning. Bold is important stuff.
