Just going off phrenology; the twins are some sort of hodge-podge that definitely have Neanderthal and a certain amount of Native in them as well. As someone who grew up next to a res, there's a lot of molestation by older males against young females, regardless of familial ties. They don't go outside the res, because that'd involve outside cops, but there's a lot of sexual abuse to go along with the jobless alcoholism.
