With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

Okay for everybody saying that it was a bit.... It definitely was but not in the way that you think.

He was talking about how he hadn't gotten any love letters like everybody else had and then they all poured in at once. That was the bit.
 
Day 4 recap!

Morning (1 AM - Noon):
  • As usual so far, the fish were provided liquor and several got pretty drunk. Landon in particular got hammered. He slept very little, nodding off between TTS in the bar all night long. At 8 AM he got convinced to do two pots-and-pans banging sessions through dorms to wake up everyone.
  • James Drake and Head bring him to bed shortly after. He crawls out of bed and back to the bar, where he slept on the floor until around 11:30 AM.
Afternoon (Noon - 6 PM):
  • With the internet situation fixed, all cams were restored. This also allowed Antara, the Indian robot pilot, to return.
  • Jobs were given out, as usual. Since the fish failed to follow directions the previous days, they were lined up outside confessional and told, one at a time, to enter and show their job to the audience.
  • Head was accused of stealing a $1 candy from the shop. He was fined $2. He argued with Bashir and Jet for so long that Jet gave up and agreed to let him off with a $1 fine.
  • Landon stole Head's personal bag and dumped a bag of trash into it in the Confessional room. This was his job for the day, "TRUGGAGE". It was found shortly after, and Head swore revenge.
  • At 4 PM, STOX prices were checked. The TWINS (Bingo/Bongo) win IMMUNITY from the first elimination by having the highest STOX price.
  • Bam presented the fish with the key to a NEW ROOM! He led them all upstairs and opened the first new room of the season: the JUNGLE ROOM!
  • The first elimination challenge was announced in the new room. The GREEN THUMB CHALLENGE! The fish were each given a sapling tree that they have to protect and take care of. All saplings had their leaves counted, and whoever keeps the greatest percentage of leaves by Saturday will be given the BULLET and get to choose which fish is ELIMINATED.
  • Each elimination challenge will open a new room, but each room also has a benefit to the remaining fish. The jungle room contains a hammock that will be stocked with free fresh fruit and vegetables and sometimes eggs ("if lucky") every morning.
Evening (6 PM - Midnight):
  • The twins attempt to start a protection racket. They approach Bashir and offer a $5 fee to protect his plant and to accept a later payment if they win to eliminate someone of his choice. Instead, he pays them $5 to protect their own plant and take the challenge seriously.
  • Around 6:30, Bashir went completely ALLAHU AKBAR!! Head gave him permission to break his plant in half because he doesn't care about winning. He then proceeded to sprint to the market, pull Anisa's out of her hands and destroy it, ran back to the bar to destroy his own, and then jumped on the bar to try and destroy James Drake's, but he physically held Bashir off. Landon, JD, and James Drake banded together, putting their trees behind the bar and making a physical barrier with their own bodies around the bar.
  • Shortly after, James Drake stepped away for a brief moment, and Bashir rushed the bar. JD and Landon nearly got into an actual fight with him, physically holding him back. Bashir came out ahead and made it past them, destroying their plants in the process.
  • A few hours later, Emma, Vicky, and Anisa congregated in the jungle room with their remaining plants. Anisa went down stairs and stole Bashir's Holy Quran. They proceeded to defile it, drawing a cock and balls and a Christian cross within it, followed by shredding it page after page by hand.
  • At 9:15, Jet made an announcement that the police are here yet again, all fish need to come downstairs to the bar. It was immediately assumed it was a bit, because cameras were not cut like the past two SWATing attempts. Sure enough, the "police" were male strippers that began to dance and take off their clothes. In case you forgot, this is a gay show.
  • Bashir was ready, and the moment he realized this was just a bit, he sprinted upstairs and destroyed the girl's plants in the Jungle Room. Emma followed him, but fell and scraped her knee before she could stop him.
  • The strippers redressed themselves and left after about 20 minutes.
  • The rest of the night was the fish drinking, hanging out, and getting spammed by TTS, love letters, and plushies. In particular, James Drake was bombarded by love letters and pep talks to the point he cried multiple times. It is debated if this was a bit by staff or not.
It is after midnight, so here's the recap. If there's anything you think should be included, reply and I'll add it. As usual, bold entries are what I felt are the most major events.

Landon is in confessional with JD and said if he theoretically won and there was no immunity he'd kick the twins
JD is telling him about theories that there's a 2nd moon where JFK lives and they staged the moon landing and that NASA was founded by Jews and the earth is flat. Landon responded that the earth isn't flat

Drake Bombed with love letters so hard he cried. It was sweet.

Also. JD and Landon are going to throw a plant off the balcony and splash someone with water after they drink a bit more. If they do it, this will be kino.
 


Fuck/Marry/Kill, Head would fuck Anissa, Marry Emma, and kill Vicky. "But can we bring her back after?"
 
I havent been watching any of this season, just checking in on the thread. It's looking like friend tank. Thoughts?

Definitely more friend tank right now though there was some significant friction with Bashir earlier today.
Friend tank is fine for now. Let the heat turn up next week.
