The smartest move was to eliminate literally anyone but Vicky, since Vicky was already talking about quitting. If she eliminated Vicky, she'd be one step closer to winning, if she eliminated anyone else and then Vicky quit she's too steps closer. Strategically, Vicky was the worst option.

It would have worked out perfectly for her if they hadn't robbed her of her victory. She had no reason to kick Vicky because she knew that junkies do what junkies do, and she was therefore a non-competitor.

Emma was playing the game of putting up with Vicky's bullshit long enough to get the eventual double-kill while completely being avoided as a target.

Next time there's a challenge there's no reason for her to participate. Her mistake this time around was playing the game at all, since they punished her for it. She may decide to lock herself in a room and talk to TTS because the optimal strategy in every season so far, now including this one, is to be friendly and reclusive.
