I like C++, people bitch about it too much.

One of my favourite GTK2 themes is Crux, never ported to GTK3 and 4 afaik which is a shame. Cool project hope GTK3 and 4 die a horrible death one day.

Isn't MATE just that? Why bother forking ancient codebase again?
