I'll also point out that anisa laughed and taunted Ethan multiple times in the past that he can't sue them because "we hired the same lawyer as him". I don't think anisa realized that ethan could simply... hire a different lawyer.

If you’re suing Ian on the grounds that he defamed you, then it doesn’t matter what Destiny’s claim was (and let’s be clear he lies like he breathes. When he gets mad at someone, he’ll say/do anything to punish them) was, he originated the claim. Ian covered it and in the same coverage, disparaged the idea. I hate Idubbz, but I’m not gonna become a dishonest faggot like he annd Ethan’s ilk just because I do.

Lumpy Willy is apparently a well-known troll in those spaces and his "bit" is to make shocking and edgy remarks like that. The streamer Dickers says that Lumpy Willy has pinged him over 500 times (exaggeration) saying that he's going to dox him, rape him, and kill him in real life. I guess everybody is aware that it's a bit and he's never actually done anything, so he's allowed to stay around, although he gets timed out for a week if he gets too edgy.

The screenshot was shared with Ethan by Destiny's friend Dan Saltman (sponsor of the H3 Podcast). In my opinion, it seems like an attempt to exploit Ethan's concerns/paranoia over being "targeted" by snarkers. Ethan says "More leaks from the snark discord", implying that he believes that any messages related to him are coming from a single "snark discord" that he believes is connected to the H3Snark/LeftoversH3 subreddit.

In actuality, the message about Ethan's son came from the server of somebody named Gama and was deleted immediately (within the minute it was posted):

There was another screenshot Ethan was concerned about:

This one concerns Hellbent, a Russian woman who primarily creates art for various streamers. I know she has created art for Purple Parry Gaming and she also creates the "wiggler" avatars that Nicholas DeOrio uses.

This screenshot was from the Discord server of Purple Parry Gaming, another small creator. I don't know how quickly this one was deleted, or if it even was, but I think it needs to be made clear: this message had nothing to do with Ethan. If you actually read it, it's the Lumpy Willy user talking about finding the address of a guy who posted a grim reaper meme about him. I have seen some people think that this message is related to the other message about Ethan's son.

As for why Saltman would share this screenshot with Ethan when it has nothing to do with him, that's an interesting question. In my opinion, Ethan seems easy to manipulate. The screenshot is kind of hard to understand at first glance, and if Saltman is the one who highlighted the text in yellow before sharing it with Ethan, I would be very suspicious that he wanted to prime Ethan to believe that the screenshot was about him in order to continue to fuel his fears of being targeted.

In that second screenshot, Ethan is concerned that DeOrio, who is one of his friends/allies (Hila in particular donates to him and says she loves watching his streams), is alleged to work with Hellbent. Nick insists that he doesn't, and while it's true that he has never paid her to create any art for him (she apparently does it for free, just because she likes seeing her art on streams), Nick is downplaying his connection to her. Here he is saying that it's just "fan art":

however, there is also evidence for them interacting on a friendly basis:

So Nick seems to be throwing his friend under the bus in order to stay in Ethan's good graces.

It's possible that Saltman knew of DeOrio's connection to Hellbent and sent the screenshot to Ethan in order to turn him against DeOrio. Basically an attempt to get "custody" of Ethan's friendship.


Overall, in my opinion, there is an effort by Saltman to kind of "steer" Ethan's ire. He wants Ethan to believe that these messages all come from the same server, that they are indications of people seriously and unironically stalking Ethan and his kids, and that they are approved of by the server owners. He wants Ethan to believe that this server is connected to the snark subreddits that Ethan has been at war with for years and also connected to creators that Dan/Destiny hate, like Jstlk.

I read the transcript of the MoistCr1TiKaL video because it was half an hour of very circular rambling. The pushback was so incredibly mild, it basically amounted to "the reasons Ethan's given for not suing Destiny don't make much sense, and if anything this lawsuit proves iDubbz's point" and "it feels like Ethan is using lawsuits to punish people he doesn't like, and isn't being mindful to the dangerous legal precedents he might be setting".

That's it. There was so much brown-nosing of Ethan, he even read out a written statement from Ethan and uncritically repeated Ethan's claims that Snark called CPS and sent him the skulls. But I guess that's why it hits hard for Ethan. MoistCr1TiKaL is risk averse and tends to offer middle of the road takes, so if he's criticising the lawsuits then that potentially has a wider reach.

Dude, I would absolutely agree with you 99.99% of the time. But in this case, we have a psychotic lying podcaster who keeps bringing up his children to smear people. He has conceded multiple times that his accusations are based on 0 proof. Yet he keeps bringing them up! In fact this is one of the worst examples: he used an unrelated screenshot of an unrelated discord server, that mentioned his son BY NAME, just to own the "snarkers" (agreed, it sounds super gay). It's crazy, he literally used his son to lie about the side he is psychotic about. Absolutely no one would have mentioned his son if he didn't lie about him to own his critics ! Same goes for the cps calls. Most people were sympathetic towards him. But he then went on to lie about it for a year. Like I can agree with you that they should still not bring up his children, and take the moral high ground. But to argue that this is proof for anything other than Ethan's psychotic weaponization of his children... that's nuts.

I think a bunch of things can be true:
  1. Ethan is not smart
  2. Ethan has bad instincts, and acts impulsively
  3. Ethan cares about his kids
  4. Ethan trusts his perceived allies (Dan Saltman, etc.) far more than he should
  5. Ethan does not scrupulously investigate everything he posts about (which, to be fair, I'm not sure he could even know truth from lie without broadcasting broadly and having the entire corner of the internet he exists in respond with rebuttal evidence)
  6. Ethan engages in lawsuits against certain of his enemies to try to make a point
  7. Nobody should be talking about Ethan's kids online (including Ethan)
  8. Ethan should know that him talking about his kids online is going to result in commentary about his kids online, just as existing online results in death threats as an almost certain outcome
  9. Everyone who posts about Ethan's kids is still wrong, and this behavior should be called out
