Good for him. Going through these milestones in life is a great opportunity to mature and grow.

Shouldn't have ever revealed this publicly though. I guess he's done this so he can get more donos on stream, would've probably been better off just grinding out a shit load of TF videos if he needs more revenue though.

He's going to have to recreate the basement cage he was kept in as a child, if he wants to keep his kid away from touching his rare soy boy merch.

I would say they really need a thread, but then I remember just how many programming trannies just like Jackathan exist out there. It'll never happen and shouldn't really. They're not interesting.

McVicker is banking on HLX coming out soon whilst also showing off the tiny scraps of "Project TF" he's been able to dig out of the metaphorical digital dumpsters behind Valve.

Once Valve actually releases a game he's been "reporting" on with videos of datamined strings or whatever, he completely drops it. He used to rattle on for, I want to say, a few years about Citadel. But then when that went public as Deadlock he stopped talking about it entirely almost immediately.

It's kind of baffling because there are channels that have been created in the last few months that just regurgitate Twitter posts of supposed leaks and they get 10s of thousands of views. If he did the same he'd probably get 100k+ views, he already gets those numbers regularly. I suspect a large portion of Deadlock's player base are die-hard TF2 players too. Deadlock has 70,000 live players right now whilst TF2 has 57,000. Everybody knows 90% of TF2's player count are bots anyway. There's a lot of attention on Deadlock.

I see he hasn't created a non-Valve video since May 2025, so his hopes of branching out from Valve by rebranding VNN to Tyler McVicker has stalled. He hasn't even bothered with a video for the Dark Ages DLC. Even though he used to worship everything ID not that long ago.

McCucker is pretty much the worst kind of fan, as in he calls himself the "Valve Guy" but actively does not care for most of the new Valve products
He should have just been TF2 News Network (Featuring Half life).
There has been so much going on with Valve in the past several years with Dota, Deadlock, the various pro scenes, CS
Hardware, software, legal and administrative stuff

Annnnd he covers basically none of it, because he isn't really a fan. He just likes TF2 and Half life a liiiiiitle too much

He's "crashing out" because (and keep in mind, this is over a year ago) Chet Faliszek released a coked out tiktok where he antagonizes people who are interested in Valve's future products and calls Tyler and Gabefollower (without using their names) gangstalking cyberbullies.

This is absolute kino. The datamining effort (sporadic part time job btw) is so arduous it is physically harming him. The LLM automates it away, but he can't let it improve his life on abstract moralfag grounds. Then he implies that others in the space will irresponsibly use the tool that he just got done saying did an impeccable job to misinform people about fucking game leaks.

He could have just used AI to churn out his datamines and never tell his mouth-breathing audience, it isn't like they would know any better especially since the AI is apparently far more proficient than Tyler.

It just did your job perfectly in a fraction of the time. I get why people dislike AI artwork, but at a certain point you sound like a carpenter who refuses to use any tools and techniques invented in the last two centuries when building a home.
