Meanwhile 343 fags defending Campaign Evolveds be like

InShot_20261011_134633460.mp4

An entire mode that should have been available at launch (broken record, I know), one which will be dead out of the womb, is the last update allowable for this retarded abortion before the remaining twenty bodies are fired. Is Activision taking the firefight mode over or something? Make this strategy make sense. Either way hilariously pathetic. :story:

Alright.... Do I have to buy Halo 3 on PC or can I "get" halo 3 on PC?

I like to save money you see. Worst case maybe somehow get halo 3 without the MCC collection for 10 bucks.

The remaining 343i idiots are in charge of the firefight mode apparently and once it's shipped they're gone.

Project Reclaimer doesn't work on Linux :(
It does! I got it running.
  • Download the .exe.
  • Place it in the MCC folder ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Halo The Master Chief Collection
  • Add a non-steam game in the library and select the .exe
  • Select a proton compatibility layer and run it.
It even updates itself properly so you don't have to redo it every update.

Hell yeah, this worked! Thanks for the tip.

Project Reclaimer is what Halo on PC should have been all along. Let us utilize our better hardware and give us mod tools to make crazy custom maps and gamemodes, and add a server browser for multiplayer matches. It would’ve taken 343i until 2552 to figure this out though.

One of 343's many biggest failures of all time was not having fileshare and Forge at launch with their games, only putting it in many several months after release. Of course, they existed in the era where you just can't have a forum like Bungie did before then, but even Bungie was directly in touch with the players playing their games and promoting community content. 3 and Reach really did feel like they wanted to share and be a part of that experience with the players. When fileshare, theater, and Forge first came out in 3 it felt like such a novel thing (for consoles; I'd already been doing maps on UEd2 for UT by this point) that they were proud to show off and be a part of.

The worst part of it is that 343's tools got better and better; the Halo 5 PC Forge was the best I'd ever used. And it was free! It was so good! But there was nobody to share it with, nobody to collaborate with, nobody up top celebrating what the players were doing and introducing us to each other through those creations. Somehow, even more than making games, 343i sucked at making people give a shit about them. I'm sure if there was anybody at that godforsaken company who actually gave a shit it was the tiny amount involved in Forge and level design.

Microsoft: "Halo.... it's finished"
Halo Modders: "No, I think we're just getting started"

Speaking of 343 fags, I recently discovered r/ShitHaloSays, and holy crap, this subreddit is nothing but a 343 Industries/Halo Studios circlejerk.
Holy shit I took a quick look and it's typical reddit faggotry
literally full of goyim paypigs who will call you a fake Halo fan if you like old halo and don't give money to 343 for the newer games which are pure slop

That wouldn't surprise me.

I'm still pissed at 343i for deleting/removing the Waypoint forum so they could move to a more censored place: Discord, where they can ignore all feedback.

Tonight I heard someone saying "shoot out to kiwi farm" on a Sandtrap BTB. One of you could NOT resist, lol.

Anyway, I finaly experienced the 120 player battles on a stable server(Europe). What a blast. Seeing a scarab moving toward your base through a canyon, despite it being blasted from many sides and having a dogfight just above is mega cool. I had flashback from Planetside 2.
I also got nuked during that fight and nearly got glassed afterward. I did not knew a player could do that on Huge Grass.

And again, after seeing what we have acces to now, may 343i suck Satan's dick forever.
