Alex cannot STAND that there are places like KF that can openly mock him that he can't do anything about. He cannot stop himself from reading this shit because he's addicted to the narcissistic injury. That's why he keeps making these longass posts and videos about how we're shitheads and we're ruining his game. He cannot understand that we're a small group on the internet who only have power because he lets us live rent-free in his skull.

If he put his head down, stayed in his Discord/Reddit hugbox, and worked on his game his life would be astoundingly different.

"Praise factory" is a really great way to describe how he manipulates his audience. He purges the fans that are too smart, too aware of the state of the game, too critical, too much aware of communities critical of him (like this one) and keeps around the fans that do not and will not criticize him no matter what so he can keep receiving infinite asspats from them. Alex trying to address every piece of criticism only draws more attention to who's criticizing him...and who knows, maybe some of his fans would start taking their side instead of his.

But our dear Devpai simply cannot even deal with the possibility of that, so as soon as someone in his circle starts questioning the narrative, he either sics one of his simp mods on him or he takes out the "dissenter" himself.

Honestly, the more I thump my brain around how to make yansim actually good, the more it amazes me how Alex survived this deep into his shitshow of a game. After at least a month of planning on fucking 4chan and getting clout from mainstream letsplayers, he thinks this thing is his masterpiece of a lifetime? It's just so obvious that the dang core mechanics aren't fleshed out. This is why the spin offs/attempts at fixing it remain half-baked and shitty and yansim will forever maintain an edgy killy simulator. Like everyone said, just sell it off to an indie game company and go.

If Alex just sold off his game to, say, Tinybuild, this thread would seldom update. But he's a lolcow, and two of the most identifiable traits of a lolcow is that they simply never learn from their mistakes and they possess very poor decision-making skills. If Alex made the decision to sell his game to another developer or even just started formally working with other, more experienced programmers, then he wouldn't be a lolcow (or at least, not as much of one).

TL;DR Individual coding segments (sort of) make sense individually but it's a huge mess when combined.

I'm going to play the devil's advocate and say no, if only because pedophilia is such a heavy and heinous charge that we should take care not to use it too lightly. I'd say that there's a readily available alternative that's less heinous: Alex is a fucking weeb. I'd say that it's likely that what Alex wants is closer to a Japanese gravure model: a model with big busty boobies for him to slurp over while carefully maintaining a non-offensive, non-threatening persona that borders on the childish.
