I feel the same way about "totes" for totally. The first thing the word makes me think of is either the brand of shoes by that name or plastic storage containers.
Not to mention that the desire for required inclusiveness seems more tokenizing than allowing it to happen as naturally as possible.
"Super spreader" is starting to piss me off when it's used by doomers to describe any group of any size that might contain unvaccinated and/or infected people who could spread COVID. Bonus points if it's used to keep people fearful or as a way to advocate continued restrictions or a return of lockdowns.

Because it's not enough for whatever group lefties are supporting right now to be 'equal' with whom they believe as priviledged, they need to be given more 'rights' to be given an ADVANTAGE over others. That's what equity is about.

The insidious thing about equity versus equality is that is gets rid of meritocracy, work or merit being awarded based on talent, despite labels. Equity makes it all about the labels,(race, sex, etc) not the quality of your work. Equity is impossible, too. There’s no way to enforce equal outcomes without being overlord dick-tater’s. (Much like socialism.) Equity is a virtue signal, impossibility, & a good warning (imo) to stay the fuck away.

And in many cases I've observed, the complaining person is talking about events that are much smaller than either of those and events they never intended to go to in the first place. It just seems like a bunch of alarmist garbage at this point, especially when one considers which germs and illnesses other than COVID truly spread rapidly in public without people freaking out over "super spreader" concerns.
