You can feel bad for retail workers taking shit from Karens and still feel bad for hookers being abused. This is a weird argument. Do you not feel bad for, say, military personnel who witness atrocities, or doctors who have to treat dying children because they also chose their careers? You could actually say you have less sympathy for doctors because that was clearly a choice on their part, while it's more likely people work retail/go into sex work out of necessity. No one goes to med school out of desperation to make ends meet.My main point is I have no sympathy for whores but I do have sympathy for random gamestop employees getting screamed at by trannies and innocent cashiers being hit on/insulted by creeps.
Sure, nobody should have to deal with the likes of Russ but I also think there is a difference when someone puts themselves in the position to fuck creeps for money, and the people working a normie job, that get caught in the crossfire of creeps in the wild.
Either way I do love seeing the whore defence force that guys like him have created. It's funny to watch them go for his throat and publicly ruin any chance he might have had for his stupid PAC. I also find the open disdain for their clients hilarious.
So, yeah. Hookers shouldn't be surprised when it turns out that a fair few of the men who pay for sex do so because they're weird enough to be rejected by all other women. Comic store employees shouldn't be surprised when a lot of their clients don't seem to understand what a shower is. Nurses shouldn't be surprised that sometimes they'll see something so devastating emotionally that it'll mark them for life. That doesn't mean you can't sympathize with someone's situation, even if they chose that job.
Everything sucks for everyone, somehow, sometimes. Tikkun olam, bro.
