My main point is I have no sympathy for whores but I do have sympathy for random gamestop employees getting screamed at by trannies and innocent cashiers being hit on/insulted by creeps.

Do you not feel bad for, say, military personnel who witness atrocities, or doctors who have to treat dying children because they also chose their careers? You could actually say you have less sympathy for doctors because that was clearly a choice on their part, while it's more likely people work retail/go into sex work out of necessity. No one goes to med school out of desperation to make ends meet.

So, yeah. Hookers shouldn't be surprised when it turns out that a fair few of the men who pay for sex do so because they're weird enough to be rejected by all other women. Comic store employees shouldn't be surprised when a lot of their clients don't seem to understand what a shower is. Nurses shouldn't be surprised that sometimes they'll see something so devastating emotionally that it'll mark them for life. That doesn't mean you can't sympathize with someone's situation, even if they chose that job.

I do have sympathy for them but would never compare what they do to prostitution. Doctors, nurses, military personnel absolutely deserve respect and sympathy. They are trying to do good in the world, these current day, first world prostitutes are trying to make money with the lowest amount of effort they can. This is one of my new favorite Russell moments. I know we had a pretty good idea that the Hoff Letter was written by Russell but I think this confirms it, my god this is like something out of his book, complete with the unrealistic dialogue from over exaggerated made up villains. He honestly expects us to believe someone else wrote this. This also means he literally thinks he loses his lawsuits because kiwis bribe judges. The inability to accept reality is killing me. He must think we're all so fucking stupid.

Kudos to the lurkers and kiwis feeding these Russell posts to the hoes, not only is it funny for us but every tweet decreases the chance of him ever getting him his penis sucked again.

But Russ has a very specific narrative about overcoming impossible odds -- disability, haters, trolls, reality in general -- to become the hero of the story. He aspires to inspire as he puts it. And he's clearly -- CLEARLY -- so paranoid, delusional, and out of touch with reality that he might not ever truly understand when he's beat.

So I really don't know on this one. I think there's actually a really good chance he'll come back with something even more extravagant and/or convoluted before he finally snaps and throws a brick at a college girl who has the audacity to use her non-disabled face in his presence.

I think you're right. He doesn't grasp this is it. With all the exposure this is getting, he won't be able to go into a brothel without immediately being told to leave. His PAC was his magnum opus. He was gonna be the guy who decriminalized prostitution in Nevada, and as such, he'd get free hookers for the rest of his life. Now that won't happen, and I don't know what he'll try next, but I do think there'll be something. He can't stay out of the spotlight for long, his ego won't let him.

Snopes claims this is false but it's bullshit and directly under another hit from Spiegel, who I think know more about what is going on in Germany. It also wasn't a routine practice and was shut down quickly, but at least a couple of the articles cite specific but unnamed cases, and funny thing is it's these very articles that they don't even mention.

In any event, whether that particular tale is true, it's somewhere we shouldn't go, and enforcing such a thing via contract law gives it legitimacy. I can think of plenty of situations where, on the other hand, a john shouldn't get his money back if the reason the hooker reneged on the deal is he was Russell Greer.

None of these problems seem to be at issue in Nevada where it's already legal (in some counties). If someone is paid for a service they subsequently fail to provide, I see no reason why it should be considered a special case if it's a two-party deal (as opposed to hiring a hitman, etc) other than statutory prohibitions on forcing the act (the legal rape Russ wants) or perhaps limiting damages to whatever was paid.

Luckily, as to the last point, we know Russ has failed on numerous occasions to get laid in a whorehouse. I forget the disposition of the Olive Garden incident but whatever he got back was because of Hoff and it didn't involve his chosen gal doing the deed. Because no one who spends that much time with Greer could manage to do it.

I recall hearing about that and the issue was that women weren't willing to take available jobs for which they were qualified (prostitution). Unemployment simply doesn't work that way in the US. You don't get denied just because there are jobs that you refuse to apply for, whether that's because you're unqualified, overqualified, or just because you don't like the job. You do have to be looking for work, but they don't deny your unemployment because X job exists and you didn't apply for it. So this doesn't apply to government unemployment benefits in the USA.

Privately funded and run groups that provide benefits to people are a separate issue and yes, they have some degree of discretion to discriminate on who they help. I see no problem with that. If you're not taking federal funding and you only want to give aid to hos in need, that's your right.
