I can credit the idea that Marvin is in tons of discord servers (a half dozen being about Sonichu) and doesn't read most or any of them.
It's just a convenient plattform for instant messaging nowadays. I reconnected with some peeps I hadn't talked to since the teamspeak days. Incidentally, if
@Spooky Bones is familiar with TS, discord is like that but you join servers permanently unless you intentionally leave and they are all active (along with all subchannels) at the same time (whereas in teamspeak you only connect to 1 at a time)
Discord still opens on startup and shows you as not-offline as soon as you boot up the computer if you don't disable it intentionally.
With dozens of channels in each server, it's not that unusual to just straight up not know what is going on in 49/50 of em.
If a rando invites you, you click okay, maybe see why and then....nothing. It just sits in your server list. Cause leaving is more clicks than ignoring it and who tf cares about organising their discord servers, except for anime people.
