La Palma is rumbling - What are the implications of a 40 foot Tsunami along the east coast?

If a total collapse would happen of the sheer would happen and we see a dump/movement of between 100 Billion and 500 Billion tons what exactly would happen per the models? Assume mid range.
Absolutely nothing, that not a big scale. And slide itself will do jack shit, because of small energy. It's the earthquake, causing such collapse, that can give enough kinetic energy to make tsunami, and even then, the distance across Atlantic will eat much of the force by dissipation and damping on seabed features.

It is all just scientists of non-applied science fields doomposting in media to get grants for their researches.

Financial drama llamas always like to freak out about October. Look into when the fiscal year begins and ends, it will explain October stock market weirdness.

That said, I also have been hearing (vague) warnings about the next few weeks from multiple sources.

Today here in the midwest USA my animals are acting a little strangely, trying to get out of their enclosures more than usual. The weather is supposed to change in a few days, maybe that's their problem, or maybe something bigger. Time will tell.
Thanks for the explanation. Another could be something could be nothing thing I guess.

and it is the suction back out that would take most people with it, and also be the final straw for most of the building as their foundations get the ground around them washed away
Good point. The returning swell would have a shit load of force behind it, and anything washed in to the ocean is dead, or destroyed.

I wouldn't be eating Atlantic fish afterwards, either.

Topography of DC and the surrounding region. Chesapeake Bay area will be thoroughly fucked. Likely to go up rivers some as well. The refugee crisis that would ensure will make this even more of a disaster.

i'd assume the delmarva pennesula which is barely populated would take the brunt of any tsunami, dc and baltimore would be relatively safe, the flooding no worse than any hurricane, its new england that would be fucked. NYC and jersey too.

if you could remote view anything why a volcano?

Same thing with those people who talk to ghosts. You can talk to people on the other side and you just tell Bob Slob that Aunt Sally says hi and the color brown is important? Proof it's all trash. No one asks the veil lifting questions because they can't come up with any good lies to tell the people they are scamming. It's easier to say you're seeing a purple rubber ducky and a pot of pasta and wait until someone yells "OMG! It's Uncle Leroy!".

Anyway, I don't take any stock in remote viewing. I think people can have premonitions though. But it's more similar to when animals sense danger ahead of time. We have those instincts buried within us. But we are so heavily reliant on the artificial world that we aren't all that in tune with our spidey senses anymore.

I'm in Philly. I assume that's too inland to be crushed by the might of Poseidon.

I've been hearing this early October thing all over the internet. Not from remote viewers, but like financial people and other groups.
thats because september is finals week for most businesses essentially. its why half of the biggest stock market drops happen that month. its when businesses give their end of business year reports, the us government too. the smart money is on things going to shit in october.
I am on a hiking forum and one of the members works at a outdoor store by the Appalachian trail nearby Fort Royal.

In his 30+ years there, when something bad happens in the US (9/11, this pandemic, OKC) he would get hear stories and sometimes even saw fleets of box trucks (5 to 10 long) that were escorted by unmarked SUVs with emergency lights.

All of these were heading to the same place, the FEMA Emergency Operations Center at Mount Weather. As such, it's a pretty good indicator of how fucked things might be headed. Being a bit survivalist / conspiracy theorist he usually posts when he hears or sees these types of events.
and did he say anything?

For what it's worth, the CIA dabbled in remote viewing, and asked somebody to look at Mars 1 million years ago.

But I agree it's probably not real, and also think humans may be able to sense danger by some not yet understood mechanism, like other animals.

I've had dreamt things that happened the very next day. When I was in middle school, whenever there was certain made of TV movie came on, I knew there was going to be a pop quiz the next day. I also, like many people I've spoken to, had a feeling something bad was going to happen the day, or right before, 9/11 happened.

Remote viewing on-demand is bullshit. It just doesn't work that way.

i think its just a lot of superstition too, i knew a druggie who was sure that his aunt was getting him fired from jobs because he'd hold down a job for months or weeks until she visited and then he would up end losing the job. except for the times it wasn't true. and he'd lose his job even if she didn't visit or she'd visit and he'd still have the same job a year later.

while i'm sure we could tap into our instincts and feel "X will happen" our memories only allow us to remember the time's we're right. studies on gamblers show this, all those weirdos with their certain clothes or dolls or whatever they wear when they bet on whatever. they do that because one time it worked and their brain will completely forget the times it didn't.

ask anyone that experiences panic attacks about how reliable their feelings are. i bet another reason people felt bad around 9/11 was because of a lot of teams shitting the bed that monday and sunday and saturday before. there was probably a lot of NY sports fans who said at 1am on 9/11 "Things couldn't possibly get worse for New Yorkers"

Something about this volcano doesn't feel right. I like watching these things, they are interesting, but the ones in Iceland, Hawaii, Japan, etc felt different. Maybe it's the lack of news coverage or the "Nothing to see here" attitude of the media and "experts" that's making me suspicious.
