From a surface level perspective, my concern is that while Texas is still red for now, the big cities (Houston, Dallas, Austin) and their suburbs are increasingly looking lost, and Abbott and co. don't seem to have a plan to deal with that or the education system turning the next generation of Texans into Democrats. Instead we get Abbott crowing about how Big Tech is now choosing Texas over California (ignoring the ramifications of their influence & their support for the Dems).
Also of course the illegal migration issues + the fact that the feds seem intent on dumping as many 'refugees' on Texas as possible.
I do hope someone can provide me some insight as to whether or not this is really the case and if the Texas GOP have a long-term strategy to fortify their state.
