Body Found in Wyoming Park ‘Consistent With the Description' of Gabby Petito - FBI confirmed - Brian Laundrie still missing, FBI searched his home

A lot of stories like this get media coverage. This one is big right now. But they'll be another soon enough. I really don't think it's strange. The news stations pander to true crime nuts and people who cry over missing white women or are mad that missing POC women don't get enough attention. It's win-win all around for the networks and news sites.
Don't forget the political spin. "Seething far-right incel kills another brave sex worker." While technically correct, they'll never mention that being a "sex worker" while having a fiancé at the same time never mixes well and is a good way to getting yourself hurt or killed in the first place.

Speaking of youtube, I searched for these two's channel but I cannot find it. Did it got taken down or something?
It wouldn't surprise me if it did. I've seen a few of their vlogs they're pretty uninteresting tho tbh it's mostly just Gabby talking about garbage and posing for the camera while she talks about how amazing van life is edited with cheesy music and backdrops a pretty normal YouTube vlogger. I saw the videos in a news article I just assumed it was YouTube it could be an Instagram or snapchat thing too.

Give me a quote where Nick ever said "I predict X in this case."
I'm not gonna find one that says "I predict X in this case" but I will find two that I think highlight my point.
From his multimedia thread which makes a good point.

He clearly plays it safe and doesn't directly say I predict this, but covers himself by saying this is what could happen, but this is what's likely to happen. Another case would be Chauvin. I don't have his exact wording on hand, but he said something along the lines of "I think Chauvin will be getting charged but likely not for 1st degree, most likely 2nd, and maybe 3rd." I personally consider that a prediction and it clearly wasn't the outcome he was expecting, but I agree you can't really call it a prediction.

I also like this post on the same page from you but it's more on his bad takes.
Bad takes on election.

Again it's him talking about all these what ifs and what he wants to see, but he never says "I predict this will happen" he says things like "this should happen but it probably won't."

this fucking comment summarizes it
This reminds me of when plebbit did their usual defective detective work after the Boston bombing and falsely accused multiple people of being one of the perpetrators based on nothing but plebbit level reasoning.

So the example is an actually correct prediction? Chauvin was charged with second degree unintentional felony murder, third degree "depraved mind" murder, and second degree manslaughter. I know I've listened to most of his weeb wars streams and he explicitly disclaimed predicting knowing what a judge would do.

He definitely opined on the merits of the case, and I more or less agree with it. Chupp's decision was absolutely fucked and the way he reached it was an atrocity. The appeals court might find a way to uphold it, but they'll have to come up with some reasoning beyond "nyah nyah nyah."

It's been raining on and off the past few days in Sarasota, and has been unbearably humid as it always is in September. Edit: Hit post too soon. The area is likely crawling with wildlife from Gators to cottonmouths to exotic animals left by douchebags. I hope his survival skills are good enough because I do not envy him, and I want to know what the hell he has to say.

Running is such a horrible option. He can't run forever. His family is retarded for thinking that they have time for their son to be cleared if at all.

Any time a youtuber commits a crime the internet sleuths have a field day - that's what this site was built on, except more slapfights, gunts, and autism. I feel for Gabby's family for having to be in the middle of this sideshow while dealing with a funeral and a police investigation. Your child is dead and everyone is scrolling though videos, screaming about whether or not they know what happened and whether or not she deserved it. It's just a clusterfuck.

I hope the family finds peace as well as Gabby in the afterlife. I hope Brian is taken alive so we can hear his story and he can sit and rot in jail if he did it.

Who are these two?

So I just highlight-surfed from page 1 to page 27 and I also have this question.

I understand that they are Youtubers but I’m really trying to figure out what it is about them that’s made their fan base so autistic that the last 27 pages have been a MRA/Incel/femcel/antivax battle ground.

When I heard the name Gabby I thought it was that dumb bitch from the 2018 YouTube rewind that said “I am so proud of this community“ or some shit.

I was friends w/ a coroner, of a major city, who said the amount of bodies that were pulled out of the local waterways alone, were so frequent, they had stacks of bodies in storage, unknown Doe’s. It often got to the point that they’d regularly run out of refrigeration space to keep them cool until processing. My friend hated Summer, had to wear hazmat gear to go into body storage, to keep maggots & decay away. (Not a poor city either, a capitol city w/ a large budget.) The stories I was told made me think twice about where I swim in the hot months.
It’s amazing how many people get killed messing around in washes and canals.

Covid added even more. I will not post the videos ITT since its very very NSFW, but there are videos from morgues where bodies are waiting the autopsy since because they died during the covid in the hospital its mandatory to determine the cause of death.
Naked bodies with bellies sliced open are stacked 3-5 on top of each other on the gurneys, on the floor, everywhere. The floor is covered in thick layer of partially coagulated blood and there are also coroners walking around in full protective gear everywhere. The other vid is less dramatic- just the body bags stacked, again, 3-5 high in every free space.
So those things are quite normal.

Why won't null let us have our neutral horrifying sticker back???

Alright guys, this looks bad for our boy brian, but I still haven't seen any irrefutable evidence that this bitch wasn't eaten by a wendigo and now the feds are trying to hide their existence by hunting down the only witness, Brian! Run Brian run, all of Kiwi Farms is behind you! The truth has to get out! Those glow niggers can't keep the sheeple in the dark forever!

I see some people on reddit claiming this story only got so much coverage due to her being a cute white girl. Maybe there's some truth to this, but it's definitely not the main reason. It's not like she just went missing hiking in the woods and her boyfriend couldn't find her. Missing people stories always pick up traction when there's hope the person can be found. People spread the word hoping to help bring awareness. etc. Eventually the story will lose steam once the person is found (or never found).

This story though....The story had drama from the start, and continued to build up leading up to the body being found today. From Brian arriving in Florida without Gabby, not calling the police, then the police chief lashing out on live stream, the cops lying about knowing where Brian was, Brian and his family not helping at all, etc. Oh, not to mention the body cam footage with Gabby expressing fear that Brian was going to leave her stranded. Talk about foreshadowing.

On top of it all, you have various communities scrambling to work together to find anyone who may have seen Gabby and Brian. Trying to figure out where exactly Brian had been before he ran back to Florida. Everyday, more and more details came out that made this case interesting, such as a witness recalling picking up Brian and him acting strange, or the Florida couple who's dashcam footage found Gabby's van parked off the road and her flipflops in the dirt. Etc.

Point is, this case didn't blow up because Gabby is a cute white chick. It blew up because it started out absurd and continued to grow even more whack every time something new was discovered. The same thing happened with the Gannon Stauch case.
I’d say it’s 50/50 in a way. Missing White Women syndrome does exist but it’s not a huge thing like most people think it is. A “attractive young white girl” will more likely get coverage than a “unattractive white women” will rarely get cover.

And lots of white girls go missing that never pick up media coverage. Context matters. No one really cares about people who go missing with reasonable explanations. There's a cute missing white college girl in my town right now. She's been missing for weeks. Besides the handful of facebook shares, no one cares because it looks like she was a druggie who hung out with other druggies and was Up To No Good.

for example take the Disappearance of Tiffany Whitton. Esquire covered her story to prove a point that ‘Missing White Women syndrome’ doesn’t work in all cases.

“Reporter Tom Junod was interested in the cases of women who do not trigger what has sometimes been called "missing white woman syndrome", where the media devotes excessive coverage to their cases. Even though the women are white, Junod believes they are ignored due to their troubled backgrounds. "Media outlets ... tend to prefer women who are white, pretty, and, above all, innocent", Junod wrote.”
