That's interesting considering that a lot of OCD sufferers have trouble tackling messes. It's a misconception that all people with OCD are neat freaks 'cause quite a few of them are so overwhelmed by what most would consider small problems.

A mess that (they know) would only take three minutes to clean can seem like a inconquerable dragon to them because they overthink it, much like someone with severe depression.

But it doesn't make sense that someone is so OCD that they can't touch dirty things, yet they are okay with living in the dirtiness. She's full of shit.

If I remember right, she was blathering on about OCD, and her audience called her out on why her place was such a sloppy shithole, and she did the Anisa thing where she sputters and just starts shouting, because that's what she does when she's on the spot and lying.

What stuck out to me was her saying that she was living in an apartment, either with a roommate or a boyfriend, and they didn't do the dishes (not Anisa of course, no) and her OCD was so terrible, that she couldn't even look at it or touch it, and ignored it every day, letting the dirty dishes fester and get worse.

Even if that is true, I'm not going to pretend I know how OCD works, that doesn't explain why you just throw your clothes and grocery bags all over the floor. The dishes have nothing to do with that. So in trying to defend herself, she just made herself look even more disgusting and like a lazy, lying ho. Just one of those things that makes Anisa so entertaining to me.

These bitches reframe their entire lives into these insane situations of abuse and mental disorders, that they just happen to keep stumbling into, and then turn around and act like they're some sort of veteran of trauma and have wisdom to impart on others, instead of realizing it's not possible for everyone else to always be the asshole, maybe it's you. It's pretty pathetic that because they have no personality they have to become a victim and make that their identity.

I will give Anisa the OCD thing though, because I remember an old stream of hers where she was desperately trying to convince the audience that her place was always messy and disgusting because her OCD was so bad that she couldn't clean because she couldn't bear to touch anything dirty. It was pretty funny.

I was seeing a girl that was exactly like this and it was fucking exhausting. If I didn't coddle her after each story, I was the biggest asshole in the world to her; and fuck me did she have a lot of stories.

Shit like "I can't get rid of these newspapers from the year my mother died or something bad will happen".

I've also talked to some people with OCD with a comorbidity of depression. Their compulsions are so specific( Everything must be lined up and placed in this very specific and meticulous fashion) and take up so much time that once things get any kind of disorganized, it's instantly overwhelming with their depression and it just spirals worse and worse.
That being said, I do think Anisa is just a slob because those people with the OCD and depression mix are ashamed of how things look as much as everyone else would be and try to not show it all off to the world with 0 shame.
