Phil loses a little bit more of his career when he gets in trouble. It's something he can no longer afford now that he supported by a handful of people.

He should be scared. The money he manages to get now isn't even close to where he used to be.

Also, every time he tips, it's either him praising the playthrough or the game DSP's playing, or talking about Dragon Quest. Dude seems legit slow in the head.

I know we have been over this a million times (beating a dead horse if you will)..but next time DSP talks about how happy he is with Kat/how she is his soulmate, for a FRACTION of the money he has blown on mobile games, he could have:
1) Taken Kat on that Japan trip she is dying to go on, that he has mentioned many times
2) Allowed her to quit her minimum wage job that causes her so much stress (if she hasn't)
3) Taken her on a weekend trip to the biggest zoo or shopping mall the country has to offer
4) Not had a wedding ceremony in DSP's disgusting family home

Kids spend more or are more thoughtful to their high-school girlfriends. This just shows that DSP truly does not care about Kat in the slightest. Married to the game, the mobile game.

Sure, people can spend their money on whatever they want. But they can't sit there on stream and say "I can't afford groceries/I can't pay my mortgage/I need supplies for my pet/I just need to get over this last hurdle/I need money for my taxes", while aiming for $10k so that they can fork out $5k on gacha and DoorDash and not meet their financial obligations. And you certainly can't do that while overtly lying and saying that you do not spend on frivolous things, and insult other people for lying while insisting that you are honest and transparent.

It isn't what Phil spends his money on that is the problem - it's what he says he needs the money for.
Even Phil knows this is a problem, which is why he has been careful with his begging the last few days.

That's the part that baffles me lol. This is a guy who supposedly stopped supporting Phil, and even publicly took him to task at times, because he felt ripped off after donating to Project 7! You'd think this would be complete validation / reinforcement of the fact that he's just a fucking scammer. Instead, he's now presiding over a SECOND tumbleweed forum, and I don't think he even watches Phil's streams. Jeezus what a loser haha, what a strange choice of person to hitch your wagon to, especially after you've publicly said that you were scammed by them.

You're right about everything, and the biggest problem is that KG is incapable of passing either Phil's or his own purity test to begin with.

But Phil needed an unhinged pitbull that would run his forums with an iron fist in his absence, and KG conveniently lives on the forum. Phil doesn't want anything to do with the forums, but for whatever reason, be it 'legacy' or some kind of backup for the future, he doesn't want to just shut it down. If Phil ever had an incentive to use his forums actively again, KG would likely be thanked for his service with a quick ban and a memoryhole. I have no doubt that Phil sees him as more disposable than any other mod in the Hate Army.

It’s this logic that woulda been my argument against the points Null was bringing up here about making moral claims labeling Phil as “objectively bad”. I think you can make that claim for the reasons you listed. Moreover, it’s that people who act like Phil try to warp people’s sense of reality, and they do so by lying and inventing false narratives. We don’t like it when people try to force their falsified realities off onto others around them; it’s behavior that can only lead to bad outcomes. People that do this are almost unanimously bad, and ones you want to see punished in some way for their bad actions.

Yeah, this is dead on. This fucking clown, when eating out on his day off is brought up as something that he could cut out to save money, gets all emotional and says that 'It's the one nice thing my wife and I get to do every week!'

It's crazy to think about how many things he could do for his 'family' that he laments on stream about being unable to afford if he literally just stopped playing a fucking mobile game. He could even keep doing all his drinking and Doordash-ing and STILL be able to have done a honeymoon and taken other vacations just with the money he pisses away on Champions!

Remember how he always used to say how much him and Panda wanted to take a vacation to someplace like Universal theme park, but it just wasn't possible? He always talked about it like it was some kind of a reward that would be at the end of a long, multi-year process of eliminating debt (debt that he only had because the trolls screwed him over, naturally) and getting to a point where he could even start to save, when he had the means to do it at any time if he was just the least bit responsible. Idk if the Champions playing goes back that far but, even if it didn't, he was surely throwing money away just as stupidly on something else. It's no fucking wonder she fucking dipped. Khet's own likely addiction and all sorts of other behavioral issues are probably the only things keeping HER there, at least for now.

Yeah, to an extent. Null has a point in that he said Phil is not 'evil', and that makes sense in that Phil's greatest legal crime has been fraud. I'd say he is definitely unethical in his business conduct, and he definitely exploits vulnerable people. But he is also clearly a slave to addictions that he has allowed to go unaddressed. He is objectively a 'bad' person, but 'evil' is a heavier moral judgement.

At the end of the day, I think all that matters is that we keep pursuing the thing that Phil fears the most - truth. If he presents a lie, the question should be less 'how can get him punished' and more 'what's the truth'.
