The problem is that caiops was only trolling the MC threads and now that they ended them, he would not post them anymore (as he said in another forum).

The GameCube launched at $100 less, an extremely fucktarded controller, those gay mini discs, and did not have as many good games as PS2. I'd say Jeff Howerton is wrong.

That being said, I remember how hard it was to get a PS2 when they came out. Still blows my mind that only six years later, the PS3 debuted at fucking $600 dollars.

And as of current year people are paying the $900 asking price for a PS5 on the secondary market. The prices will dip to around $700, but when a popular game gets put out they're right back up there and over a grand.

$800 is the most it’ll top out at now. Sony is slowly but surely catching up. You’ll see the shortage end around March of next year.

If I were to moderate the ResetEra forums, one of two things would happen. Either spend one day carefully applying all their rules, biases and faggotry to all posters, meaning that all the worst people would be perma-banned with no recourse because they're all fucking hypocrites. Or I'd delete the whole thing and try to fuck up the backups so it wasn't possible to easily reconstruct.

Neither will fix the problem. We'd lose our monkey enclosure. They're both short-term solutions. But there's a certain spiteful glee to be had in either piercing the SJW bubble or wanton destruction it would be impossible to resist. And after all, the alternative if made to moderate ResetEra is that you'd have to actually spend all that time there.

The fake accounts from other people here are run by people better at playing the long game - semper fi. About the only way I could carry it off for more than an hour would be to do what the other jannies, especially Nepenthe and Morrigan, seem to do, which is treat their ban reasons as a creative writing exercise in finding the best, most SJW way to call someone a cunt without actually doing so. Seems like that's what Morrigan literally was doing, considering the Discord leak.

If I owned RetardEra I would immediately ban and dox all the mods there, not just from what they had on file, but going out of my way to make sure all the dox were up to date. Then I'd mailbomb wherever they lived with mass mailings warning their neighbors of the pedos they had in their neighborhoods.

I can understand Reeeee people hating Morrigan for being "islamophobic", but I never understood why so many of these buffoons think disliking rap is racist. The argument that it is "even worse" if people dislike rap, but appreciate jazz also doesn't make much sense, because a) not enjoying all aspects of a culture does not entail hating that culture or being a bigot (I'm embarrassed that I even had to type this) and b) I'm pretty sure I've seen several of these people praising rap music while gleefully admitting to finding jazz "boring".

This gives me flashbacks to the days when some of the feminist sectors of the internet would outright call people misogynists for disliking Kim Kardashian (since Kardashian content was mostly consumed by women, berating it supposedly equated to belittling women). These idiots apparently haven't come to terms with the fact that they can enjoy culture (or "culture") without needing to have their tastes validated by every human being on the planet.
