I don't see what the point of posting this thread is. If it's real, just look at the house and do research and check your finances if you can afford to fix it up (doing this is either affordable in the near term or not, there's no middle ground so it's easy to decide). I think the weirdest part in that post is how they chose to not contact a lawyer. This post would inevitably lead into legal advice, which no one in their right mind goes to Reddit for. Reddit often complains about how unfair the housing market is, so maybe the post is just creative writing meant to humblebrag? I do see a lot of weird humblebrag posts on Reddit, where they act like something glorious and super far-fetched happened to them and they need Reddit's validation. Given by all the posts in the comment section telling OP to take the deal, I have to wonder if it is such a post. Very little actual advice, but it is worthless without knowing more about the area OP lives in.

Alright I finished my work early so I'm going to tell you a tale about reddit's pornographic collapse. Specifically about "GoneWildAudio" and Tumblr's role in it.

See I was raised in a household where watching porn would get you belted, and I'll spare you the rest but let's just say you couldn't risk a sears catalog in my household, meaning we had to find alternatives. This was one such alternative.

Gone Wild Audio has a simple fucking premise. Someone records them self jacking it/flicking the bean. Then other people online use it to repeat the process. Why just sound? Maybe it's a fetish or something, or maybe people are just fucking ugly. But it's a pretty simple fucking premise. How could you fuck it up?

Well a bunch of dudes saw girls willing to moan into the microphone and started to make requests. You know that meme with the bird saying he wants a "Dommy Mommy QT Goth GF Tomboy to choke him with her cock" and the other bird just says "what". That sprung up basically overnight.

Script fills are basically either a way to groom girls into pretending to fuck dogs with imaginary internet points, or the saddest fucking thing ever. I'm pretty sure someone recorded a bunch of names they were PM'ed to say with shit like "I love you anon". Either way, these had an obvious problem, which is the fact that you can't hold a vibrator while reading off a fucking script.

the drama of this sub is typical of what you'd expect.

creeps are indigenous to reddit, and somehow the thirst extends to messaging purposefully anonymous women. What I wouldn't give to have access to some of those DM's. Probably more requests for heinous shit.

Other Hilarity is the Skyrim voice acting scandal. I have 0 proof of this because it was years ago, but apparently some dude took some women's voices and cut them into the voice sound files for one of Skyrim's porn mods and the subreddit flipped the fuck out that dudes found another way to jack off to them. I asked one of the horny skyrim modding forum admins about it and I got banned immediately, so I'm just gonna assume it's true.

So where does Tumblr come in?

With the end of Tumblr porn, there was a fucking influx of porn VA refugees that surged in from fucking nowhere. I'd checked out by then, but this is when the scripts went from "I let you try anal" to "Me and 30 other goblin GILFS break your fucking hips and smash your testicles with a hammer"

Unfortunately, the population growth has buried this trend, as the explosion of coomers turns every new fetish into a shitstorm of garbage, and I'm not digging through this shit to find the skyrim accusations.

I thought they were overjoyed about their victory over Spaz previously standing up for free speech? They truly have no endgame other than authoritarian censorship.

Someone needs to explain to any vaccine hesitant black person, that we understand where they're coming from, we really do! But if this vaccine was dodgy, the rich white folk would have given it to them first, but that's not what happened. Rich, white folk got it first because they knew it was safe and effective.

So the framing here is problematic at best. The only interviewee is Hawk Newsome, who represents a BLM organization unaffiliated with the larger BLM network, who have distanced themselves from him. BLM Greater New York, despite it’s name, may not represent much of the BLM related activities in NYC (they’ve got about 4K followers on Twitter). Hell, it’s also possible that Newsome’s views don’t represent his followers here, since the protest appears to be about claims of discriminatory behavior by the waitstaff as opposed to the mandate. Yet Newsome’s words are taken to represent BLM as a whole. Not saying that there aren’t likely racial issues with mandate enforcement, and reasons that many in the black community might distrust the government and/or have limited health care access. But the framing is Foxish, and I’m taking the story‘s angle with a grain of salt.

Vax mandates conflict w/ people fighting for their right to harm others w/ their reckless behavior. It's largely a pandemic of the unvaxxed now. Some overcrowded hospitals have been forced to ration health care. That is to say, people w/ the most life threatening conditions may not get the health care needed to save their life. I'm sure when people lose a loved one under those conditions, they're not thinking about BLM. They're thinking about that unvaxxed person in the hospital bed that contributed to overcrowding w/ their reckless behavior.

Bringing up the rich white people thing as a tactic makes some sense here, showing that this isn't another Tuskegee syphilis experiment or similar. These vaccines are safely being used by everybody.

But alas, I'm sure too many redditors are unable to reconcile with choosing between their favourite BLM or the vaxx. Had it been something like the Proud Boys instead of BLM, you'd see 100x the comments!
