US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Everyone knows the score by now, except for leftists who think right-wing fascists somehow control everything somehow. I'm sure they'd point to the lack of socialized medicine as "proof" that the US is "ultra right-wing".
I've unironically heard that from Eurofags, actually. "Why, even our right wing parties believe in health care for all. Those Democrats are just as far-right as the Republicans for not constantly advocating for it".

Yeah, we know that protesting for policy changes is only ever permissible and positive if it's in a leftward direction. If people are protesting for less government interference in their lives, smaller government, and against dumb progressive ideas, then they're Nazis.

The consistent failing of the modern Left wing is that they want to have their cake and eat it, too in that being the counter culture tends to bring in that youth vote and it is what brought them to prominence via Big Tech and social media. You can't be counter culture and Establishment at the same time. The Left now is the Establishment. Almost nothing exemplifies that as well as AOC wearing a $35k dress to the Met Gala with "tax the rich" sprawled across the back in red, then a week later crying and switching her vote from 'no' to 'present' in the recent Iron Dome funding debacle she swore she'd vote against.

See also the entire existence of BLM. WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO US being blared out by virtually every mega corporation.

This is old news… not that it’s untrue… but like the Lab Leak Theory, it got silenced for a minute because orange man bad.
And now that the Democrat Civil War has kicked off, suddenly old news is news again. I do wonder, how many 'minor' scandals are going to resurface...

The Left has been the Establishment since at least FDR. They only temporarily lost their grip of power during Reagan (also during Eisenhower). Even then they still had a monopoly in the media even if it wasn't as overt as it has become.

Not quite, what made the steal possible was a severe loosening of those laws, and the use of easy bypasses of them.

Right, but wasn't that "loosening" blatantly illegal to begin with? The constitution says that only state legislatures have the right to make/change election laws, and yet many if not most of these last-minute rule changes came from governors, judges, secretaries of state et cetera with zero authority to do so. Seems pretty cut and dry, and I don't see how there's any wiggle room to say the law was somehow worked around rather than straight-up violated.

Well, you see... something something damages something something laches something something.

Before the election they couldn't take up the issue because there was no standing. After the election they couldn't take up the issue because the point was moot due to time elapsed. The time to take up the issue was at 12:46 in the afternoon on election day exactly. No sooner and no later. It was super clear and obvious and they missed their chance. Ah well, what a shame. Don't whine what the Supreme Court in Pennsylvania was doing circumventing the state legislature and don't bother complaining about the good work put into fortifying the election and don't you dare question the media coverups and baseless smears that went on for years.

You had your chance to have all of this investigated. It was on election day at 12:46 PM. It isn't anyone else's fault but your own that you missed such an easily achievable timetable to get your cases heard and adjudicated. All you had to do was follow the rules that were laid out for you in the weeks following the election. It was clear as day!

@Gehenna what's your insight on some polls showing Trump winning the popular vote in a 2024 rematch? Do they reflect what you see on your end?

For anyone aware, Trump winning the popular vote means he wins his 2016 map plus NH, MN, and NV and possibly Maine.

Things can't be that dire for old Joe yet. But if they are, the reckoning is arriving much sooner than anticipated.

Not quite so cut and dry. The actual time to challenge them would have been when they were implemented, the proper party to do so would have been the legislatures. By the legislatures sitting back and doing nothing, they fucked up hard. No individual would have standing until affected, but by the time they have affected the point was moot.

That was the workaround.

The legislatures did nothing, and the people who wanted to steal things kept going right up to the point anyone would grouse and just barely not crossing it. In the aftermath, the legislatures realized they fucked up hard. They put in place laws to prevent the methods of stealing, and now are paying attention to any executive overreach.

Short version, for Wisconsin specifically, yes. Trump would win by a landslide. But right now is not a campaign year, and Biden is in the middle of a shitstorm. Trump would have lost handily to Clinton at his lowest point. It's apples to oranges, get back to this closer to the mid terms.

You thirsty mother fuckers make me glad I'm married and thus in no way tempted by the thirst.
The thirst to me is just a big plus, kinda like having Melania as a first lady instead of Michael, but even better because Tulsi would be a fairly competent leader imo. I don't think she's ideal by any means but in my eyes she might actually be the best candidate the DNC has even had in my lifetime for the simple reason that she's not a swamp rat and is willing to use diplomacy before the bully pulpit. This is, of course, the exact reason the DNC will never, ever allow her to secure the nomination.
For now it really sucks too, because there's more or less no chance we'll ever get to see how she'd do. The DNC establishment will never run with her or allow her to run, going independent is political suicide when it comes to running for president (even Teddy Roosevelt couldn't pull it off and people loved him) and going republican would risk tanking any better candidate they might pull out of their ass so it would be risky for her to switch parties. The only path for her would be an election season where there were absolutely no decent republican candidates that people would support (no trump, no desantis) AND she would have to do it early enough to even get on the ballot which makes that a tough shot to time. If there was a roster of swamp rats running like we had in 2016 or a bunch of "decent but will never make it" candidates I could see enough republican voters being willing to give her a chance but now that trump opened the populist Pandora's box I'm sure we will see many attempts to recreate his 2016 success that will muddy the field.

Get ready for it guys. The fact that they're now doing purity tests on the military and setting up a system to disarm anyone they deem to be uncool with what they have planned, tells me they are finally prepping for their move. This is planned for 2022, I expect things to start moving overtly within the next few months.

I'd wait for tomorrow for the real official release, but if this is a teaser for what's to come, oh boy.
Shocker. Mail-in shit was a goddamned dumpster fire. My stars and garters, who could have predicted that?
