US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

As I mentioned a couple posts ago, I expect the CNN/MSNBC/Twitter angle to be "BIDEN WINS MARICOPA COUNTY!" and ignore everything else about the report.

@Gehenna says its a desperate ploy and I hope he's right. This is where I think Bidens multiple fuckups will come into play as people might actually read deeper than the headline this time, but we'll see.

But there's 100% a reason why the "Biden wins" result leaked 12 hours early.
I'll reserve my judgement. No matter the result, the best Team Biden has is that "yeah we won legitimately, suck it Drumpftard." Which is a win only if Drumpf was actually still relevant in some way. The fact is the events of the past months is squarely on the shoulders of Hidin' Biden and you cannot spin that away.

And if Biden takes an L here...? Well, that's gonna be mighty interesting.

Is this just getting ahead of the curve?
What "leaked" is a 2 week old draft of the audit.

What their reporting is "the hand recount was the same, therefore no fraud." The hand recount was done to verify vote totals to make sure they didn't blatently lie about vote numbers. Also, this was all done before the forensic investigation of the ballots in question, without signiture matching included.

This is what they're not reporting from that "leak".

Over 50k ballots in question.

Again, wait for the official results to come in the weekend. We honestly don't even know if this report has finalized totals or if its 100% real altogether.

Sure you can. You can make anything Trump's fault if you presume normies won't look into it.

1) Afghanistan is Trump's fault because he signed off on the pullout.
2) The border crisis is Trump's fault because it's four years of people Trump didn't allow in now coming all at once. Remember, the only person that has resigned so far did so because the US wasn't allowing Haitians in fast enough for his liking.
3) COVID is Trump's fault because he didn't take it seriously enough.
4) Inflation is Trump's fault because he destroyed the economy in 2020.
5) Global Warming is Trump's fault because he refused to pass zero emissions legisation.
6) Racism is Trump's fault because he didn't support BLM, CRT, and supported the Proud Boys.
7) Transphobia is Trump's fault because he didn't support the LGBTQIA+.
8] Russia! Russia! Russia!

You can make ANYTHING Trump's fault.

It's a good thing that has never worked. No, seriously. A lot of people disliked Trump for his personality, but much fewer people actually blamed him for anything. It's a repeating pattern.

Pollster: What are your thoughts on Trump?

Citizen: He's an oaf and unpleasant.

Pollster: What are your thoughts on Afghanistan?

Citizen: A tragedy! It's really bad!

Pollster: Who do you think is responsible?

Citizen: Biden.

Now repeat multiple times for whatever you want to replace Afghanistan with, and that's the majority answer in Democrat strongholds like Milwaukee. Even -among the Democrats-, Trump isn't actually blamed for this despite the Orange Man Bad narrative.

They are not coming to take your guns... -that- directly. Leaving aside the fact it would be challenged and SCOTUS is increasingly hostile, and that'd affect every state so good luck -not- having SCOTUS have to take it up due to conflicting rulings. The precedent is so painfully clear here it would fail basically immediatly.

The tactic seems to be applying indirect ratcheting pressure from a variety of avenues. They exert economic pressure with things like import bans and extra regulation to increase costs, and more direct attacks like PLCAA workarounds or Operation Chokepoint (which pressured banks/payment processors to not deal with gun industry people). Direct regulatory pressure on people with ID and training requirements, 'assault weapon' bans to whittle down the amount of 'allowed' guns, restrictions on hunting and sport shooting, plus of course regulatory requirements on retail gun stores and shooting ranges to increase their costs and risk (like requiring massive video surveillance and requiring the store to keep the tapes for years, extensive training and licensure for even the janitor). Then comes the 'prosecutorial discretion' angle where certain DAs will embark on anarcho-tyranny efforts to, despite the law or facts, put anyone who uses a gun for self defense through every misery they can to de fact outlaw their use against criminals and discourage acceptance of people using violence even when allowed by law and demanded by duty. So on, and so on.

Its a slow, slow boil of a frog, designed to erode and destroy firearm ownership until the number of people that own, operate, and appreciate the rights to keep and bear are so small that they have no political power and at that point the 2nd will be buried under enough weaselly rulings that the few guns legally still in circulation will be easily gathered up and all their remaining owners shot by police drones.

I'm glad to hear that. Maybe I've been going down too many Twitter rabbit holes lately, because I have absolutely seen plenty of tweets blaming Trump for Afghanistan.

Twitter is only 5% of the population Salubrious. It doesn't represent the general population.

Twitter is a minority of a minority, an absolutely minuscule sample of the population pulling almost exclusively from the far left of the Overton window. It is so unrepresentative that my firm actually has a ban on having Twitter accounts for any business purpose.

It'd be funnier if Biden did legit win with 80 million votes. It would mean 80 million people voted for him, with half having buyers remorse less than 1 year in.

2022 National Defense Authorization Act passed the House with 135 (R) votes (this is the bill with the red flag law in it). Now it goes onto the Senate, but Gun Owners of America and some Representatives who voted no are making a big fuss about it so I am (maybe optimistically) expecting it to get blocked in the Senate. Remember that the Democrats attempted to do something similar to this last year and failed.

Tis common, and will meet resistance in the Senate. Nobody really -reads- the entire bill in the House, so it probably was snuck in. This is a feature, not a bug. The bill will go on to the Senate where the more 'prestigious' members will debate it, suggest amendments, then pass it back to the house to hash out the differences.

Yeah I m confused 3 english speaking countries form a pack, So what none of the countries share a land boarder with the EU.

whats to be angry about.

I THINK that the issue is that the pact violates separate agreements already made with those countries.

I'll admit though that I have not looked closely at it so I could be wrong.

You'll know though if CNN/MSNBC starts talking about how Trump made those pacts so Biden needed to break them or something.

In short: In order to form that pact they jettisoned a longstanding deal with the French, inflicting monetary damages on France. They did so suddenly, without warning, recompense, or even so much as a sorry. The result is that the whole of the EU has asked themselves "What else will they do?"

Those deals were decades old, before Trump ever entered politics.

Biden shiller Chris Cuomo is apparently as creepy as his big brother Andrew.
First Lemon, now Cuomo. Two CNN anchors in a row. I do believe I have mentioned they are beholden to all three, it seems one of the three wants them gone, or the other news outlets decided that tearing them down helps themselves.

Call anyone you know in wv and remind them to call Manchin and remind him where the fuck he comes from and why he might need to remember that. WV people are retards for voting for him but guns is one thing he's historically toed a careful line on and there are tons of vets and is still tons of military support in WV. If enough of them find out this will target both guns and veterans they'll call him and tell him shut it down or he's out. At that point even the party higher ups may see it as too risky since they already have to rely on Kamala for a tie breaker.

Kamala's not a guaranteed tiebreaker here either. She wants to keep her head down, out of the limelight. Breaking a tie for that will fuck that up right good and quick. The VP can, rather than vote aye or nay to break a tie, abstain.
