They probably don’t have a “Church”, per se, but they probably DO have a group from nearby churches who do “prisoner outreach”. They basically go in there each Sunday and hold services for any prisoners who want to attend it. Might just be a few of them coming to the door of the pod and talking to the prisoners, or in Chris’ case, going to the door of his solitary cell and talking with him for a few minutes. They also distribute bibles, which is how I’m guessing Chris got the one he’s been reading.Does anyone know if Chris's jail has a church? If so, I'd send an inmate a carton of smokes and a rectal-sized camera just to get video of him preaching.
So...who's Emanuel then?
Chris has been on record talking about his "guiding deities" before and that's a clear indicator of one of the faggots "roleplaying" with (manipulating) him for clout (Sean, Bella, etc) as Chris can't help but mention the people he talks to so that kinda sticks out to me.
Catholic fag here, for all those wondering who or what the fuck is Emmanuel, (sometimes spelled Immanuel) it's an old biblical term associated with the prophesied birth of Christ. When he invokes 'Emanuel', does he mean one of the idea guys told him to rape his mom, or does he actually mean a real god(voice in his head)?
Even if he does think the merge happened, that doesn't change the fact that he knew that having sex with Barb would get him in trouble when he did it. Chris isn't smart, but he's sneaky enough to know that he can try to manipulate his way out of a heavier sentance and I think he is aware of how fucked he is, but he's too stupid to put together a convincing lie.
Trying to get an insanity plea is a well-known method of avoiding punishment, especially among idiots who don't know that just being a delusional nitwit with an overactive imagination isn't the same as actually being insane. If it's shown that he knows/knew he shouldn't have been doing what he did (taking the money, raping his mother), then an insanity plea won't stick because it'll mean that he was knowinglyt breaking the law and trying to cover it up. Chris is trying to excuse his actions by claiming that he was doing it for good reasons, because he knows that he shouldn't have been doing them and that his actual reasons for doing it (wanting to go to the mall and buy toys, wanting to fuck) won't cut it. Looking at the evidence from while the rapes were happening, Chris didn't think that he was Jesus back then so the defence presented in his letter is discredited.
Chris has a history of lying and trying to manipulate people to get out of trouble, so trying to lie about being Jesus wouldn't be outside of his comfort zone and he's had enough practice writting weird nonsense about being a goddess and a CPU such that the Jesus angle is pretty tame in comparison. Really he should have stuck with the CPU stuff because that seems at least like something he came up with on his own and not something which he could have seen on TV or heard about from other inmates. There are probably dozens of 'Jesus Christs' in the American Prison system right now; claiming to be the second coming is old news, It's too obvious.
Who also is God and all knowing...When teaching English, I sometimes had to tell my students that just because you string words in front of each other doesn't mean you've made a sentence. Somehow, the best example of this has now come from a >35 year old, native English speaker...
Right now I'm just imagining a black guard listening to Chris's psychobabble about cpu goddesses before handing him a bible and saying "Boy you need Jesus." But as Chris is reading, the guard's words get twisted into "Boy, you need to be Jesus."They probably don’t have a “Church”, per se, but they probably DO have a group from nearby churches who do “prisoner outreach”. They basically go in there each Sunday and hold services for any prisoners who want to attend it. Might just be a few of them coming to the door of the pod and talking to the prisoners, or in Chris’ case, going to the door of his solitary cell and talking with him for a few minutes. If you get past the "I'm sad" eyes and the I might rape someone just to get some sleep bags, not bad. Chris' alright too.
