Not sure if this made it into the highlight reel, but the long story is that Chantal had a habit of "befriending" slow kids, inviting them to hang out at Shannon's, and then laughing at them behind their backs. That seems just like Chantal, so I believe it.
Apparently James was a similar situation - Chantal befriending him as joke. That naked Polaroid she passed around apparently revealed that he has a big dick. Shannon said that when Chinny caught feelings for him (and finally harassed him into dating her) that she hid the relationship from her friends for months because she was embarrassed of him.
Of course, Shannon claimed she never partook in making fun of the slow kids hanging out at her house. Right. That's as true as her not doing coke at her kid's party.

OK, she lives in a cute enough little house, she evidently has a job in the medical field, and she has a white, presumably employed human male, however unattractive he may appear, who doesn’t look like he wants to shoot himself whike standing next to her. Why the fuck does she want to be friends with Chantal? By the very basic life rules Chantal lives by, Cherish is way ahead in the game.
Just in terms of sanity, it’s not a good look even for the insane, the mentally subnormal, the homeless, or even Annie P, to want to be friends with Chantal, to find her content interesting, to make a stink repeatedly in her comments about anything, let alone doxing. It’s baffling, as the sorts of people who unironically enjoy Chantal’s bullshit long term are generally lower on the totem pole than this or unrepentant fetishists and Cherish appears to be neither, unless that dude is her brother and ten people live in that little house.

I mean, even easier than getting a sodiumwhale to pay rent on your place every month is shacking up with her so you live for free in her place and she has no choice but to pay the rent or get evicted. Chantal is that one horrid girl in school who would mock and sell out any one of her friends to people more popular than her, just to feel accepted by the in-crowd. She will talk shit about every one of the few friends she has, just to make the cool kids laugh and pay attention to her for a few moments, thinking it’s her “in” to become more popular.
And when they eventually push her gross fat carcass away from them again because she’s repugnant and a shitty person, she will crawl back to the same friends she humiliated, ashamed and resentful that her only friends are “losers.” She feels above her friends and thinks they aren’t cool enough for her, when it’s usually the other way around. So she will shittalk them to anyone cool who might listen for a moment and pay attention to her…secure in the knowledge that she can later lie and say it was a misunderstanding, and they will take her back.

Actually, this made me wonder about something. Chins said she leaves the trap house in the middle of the night because she likes to sleep and her own bed and needs her space. I am beginning to think it's more because she needs her fast food fix. Every time she leaves his place she makes a beeline to the nearest McD/BK drive thu or orders Uber Eats as soon as she gets home. She has said that he gives her shit for eating that stuff, and he practically has to force feed her healthy food that she clearly doesn't enjoy no matter how hard she pretends to. And she always complains about how "starving" she is after leaving his place.
The other factor is her compulsion to post on YouTube. As soon as she leaves his place she always starts streaming on her way to the drive thru. HI ANNIE!!

I was just thinking the same thing. Nads may be a lowlife, but when compared to Chantal he really is an Egyptian prince. Notice how he had all of the pots cleaned before they even started eating (subtle dig directed at her, I'm sure). Far cry from the way Chins lets her pots sit for weeks and become mold farms. And at least he looks clean and his food looks appetizing. He's still trying to force fresh home-cooked food on her, but it will never stick. But I wonder how much those ingredients set her back.
He doesn't drive though. At least he doesn't have a car and I doubt she would buy him one (it would give him too much freedom). Maybe she would let him drive hers...if he even has a license. You know if he was ordering Ubers or getting picked up by "friends," she would be all over him about it. Also, as a sex addict, is he going to be satisfied with limiting himself to a smelly beached whale who only knows the starfish position? Hell, what do I know. I try to rationalize too much. I really enjoyed how Chins drifted away, eyes glossing over, saying obligatory "a ha"s while Negz was talking. She's now doing the same thing when King Tut is talking.
