Corpse_Husband / Anthony Blue Gamboa - Popular Streamer and Edgy Poser with an army of horny E-girls

i feel so awful about the standards of existence these days that dream and corpse both have to hide their faces to be successful. Regardless of if the 'leaks' are them, it sucks. i'm not even going to lie. i'm not conventionally attractive whatsoever. but that hasn't ever stopped me from being a human being with a personality. it has rarely stopped me from making friends or earning popularity.

These guys are absolutely faceless and it does them and their teenage fanbase a disservice. I have a feeling they'd be just as popular (maybe even moreso or with a different crowd) if they'd just have shown themselves from the beginning, but now they risk losing their rabid fanbase if they 'come out' sts because they're these built-up god-like faceless voices who can be whoever these girls want them to be. As soon as they step outside that idolization they're fucked.

it literally perpetuates this idea that if you're ugly/not conventionally attractive and you want to be popular you have to wear a fucking bag over your head so nobody can see you. it's awful.

i want children but i fear it's too selfish a pursuit to bring them up in a world like this.
I understand where you're coming from but the fact of the matter is that people like Dream and CorpseHusband only got to where they are by using a perceived sexual appeal as a crucial part of their brand. There's a reason that 99% of Dream or CorpseHusband "fans" have thirstposted and will continue to thirstpost about them. They are not a success story for someone that isn't conventionally attractive to look up to. They were not able to earn that popularity "despite that" like you did. They pretended they were something they weren't. Dream and Corpse both invested heavily into these anime personas of them, going as far as commissioning fan art to make themselves look a certain way (in Dream's case, doing a cringe ass interview as an animated persona in a live action video).

Dream goes out of his way to tease his "romance" with his friend to his tweenage stans in order to exploit teenage or prepubescent sexuality (I feel gross writing that) in a manner extremely similar to the way that boy bands do. It's just fucking WEIRD. Corpse did the same shit with his music. I understand that you don't pick your fans but when you write music about abusive relationships and selling yourself on the image that you're this fuckboy skinny e-boy who's sexually appealing on the outside but Soft Uwu on the inside, it irritates people, and it's extremely funny when it's all just a lie.

If it makes you feel better, me and 95% of people here don't hate him or Dream because they're ugly or not conventionally attractive, they hate them because they're INAUTHENTIC. Non-conventionally attractive people succeed all the time in real life and real, non shallow people don't care what you look like. Anyone that acts like a fuckboy douchebag is annoying though, regardless of attractiveness, and especially when they do it ANONYMOUSLY on the internet.

> it literally perpetuates this idea that if you're ugly/not conventionally attractive and you want to be popular you have to wear a fucking bag over your head so nobody can see you. it's awful.

They don't HAVE to do this is basically what I'm saying. The only reason that it's become a big deal is because they both lied about it and profited off of a fake likeness/image. Most people on KiwiFarms, despite being called a "gossip site" or whatever, do not hate ugly people. They just hate the fakeness that came with it with Dream and Corpse.

Do their fangirls/fanboys/fanthems or whatever the fuck care? Yes, because they're weird freaks who got invested in their made-up, perceived attractiveness. They got attached to an anime avatar and a voice. That's pathetic as fuck and most of these kids will learn why being a shallow simp is sinful as they grow up... or they just aren't good people. That's fine.

Dream/Corpse are massive faggots because they pandered sexuality to teenagers and pre-teens, not because they're ugly. Corpse is probably better than Dream but it doesn't really change much. The ugly thing only matters because their fans care IMMENSELY about how they look. Just look at the tweets, most of the negative ones regarding the Dream/Corpse face "reveals" are THEIR OWN FANS freaking out about how ugly they are. When your fandom for something is related entirely to how attractive they are, you're shallow and you need a reality check. That's what these doxxes provide.

The "IT'S FAKE GUYZ YOU ARE HARASSING AND SPREADING A PICTURE OF AN INNOCENT GUY A RANDOM PERSON!!11!" posts are already typed and sent out as soon as they see someone claiming Corpse/Dream/any other degenerate hiding behind an avatar's face got leaked, without checking why or how the leaks came to be in the first place. And when they do, they either accept it, or just blatantly deny it all, you know, like in a stage of grief or self blindness.

He did tell fans they would be surprised and disappointed in what he looked like. Compared himself to Joji… but he’d also go on and on about how he’s always hated his looks and never thinks he looks good. So people just brushed it off.
I was literally just about to mention Joji, wasn't even aware CH has tried comparing himself to him lol what a desperate fag. Now let me preface this by saying I don't think Joji is ugly by any means, hell when I was younger I had those silly youtuber crushes on him, and rate me TMI but I still would smash. But he's not, say, a kpop idol, with the looks of a sculpted-by-the-gods supermodel.

And that's okay. You don't have to look like a magazine cover model to be attractive. So how come Joji has so many simps for doing the same sad eboy persona? Because he doesn't pretend to be something he's not.

It's so fucking funny (and pretty sad) that CH could've avoided all of this if he just simply hadn't lied about every aspect of his life. I'm absolutely certain if he had shared his face before, no one would've given a shit. It's his fault, he was the one who encouraged everyone to feed further into the delusion he's this sexy anime protag in real life, he was the one making up more and more lies with the pretense it's actually who he is and not just an online persona.

I even believe he could've had the same amount of success if he actually treated the Corpse Husband persona as a fictional character and acknowledged it's all played up. You don't see the people behind the voices of vtubers claim they're 100% accurate representation of their real personality and looks.

I 100% agree with you. So many people have given me the side eye because I won’t date men shorter than me. There’s just no attraction and why should I force it? How often do you see an attractive man go for a fat disheveled hog? It’s less likely than you think.
You can change being a fat unhygienic fuck but you can't squeeze an extra inch or two to get taller.

Woman-tier retort. I spit on you and would NOT have sex with you (I might idk)

God this generation is so fucking dumb. They probably side eye you because you don't shut the fuck up about not dating short dudes like every other girl on the internet. Just make up a reason "their vibe was off", "we just didn't click", etc. It's really not that hard. Same for dudes, some of u need to stfu about "I'll NEVER date a fat girl"... just say the spark wasn't there and move on. The "stereotypical responses" regarding romance and dating exist for a reason

The thing is, most people in our generation KNOW that they should just shut up about it but can't because they want the attention. "I don't date short dudes" nobody cares. "I don't think fat women are hot" nobody cares. Shut the fuck up. Dating and sex and relationships should be a private thing and yet social media has deluded people into believing that every relationship has to be a public affair and everyone cares immensely about who they want to date. The ONLY context where you should talk about what you're attracted to is if you're explicitly asked by somebody who's trying to set you up with someone, and even then you should try to be kind about it. Jfc
Lmfao what generation do you think I’m from? Regardless I think women are allowed to have standards. Especially when the person they worshipped literally got famous for zero effort. I remember seeing a tiktok guy with the exact same voice as corpse but he was more conventionally attractive than Anthony is. Pretty sure that’s why some fan girls jumped ship a few months back.

They seem to be hitting the “acceptance/bargaining” phase now.
I blacked out the picture because thot butt.

“He’s not that bad for real guys”

Women should obviously be allowed to have standards, I just don't think this thread KiwiFarms is the place to post about it, and in general social media is the reason people are starting to think that everyone cares about their standards. The only thing your post said was that you don't like short guys and some people find that weird. How is that relevant to anything in this thread lmao

This I kind of agree with I guess... obviously fan girls that only like Corpse because of his perceived attractiveness are "allowed" to jump ship when he's revealed to not be attracted to them or whatever, but it's sort of shallow and pathetic that they spent this much time pretending like they actually liked his music or that it was good for anything beyond making them horny. And you have to put a decent amount of blame on Corpse for peddling himself as a sex symbol to teenagers and pre-teens and then being surprised when it blows up in his face. Just weird all around

Yes that was an example of having standards and you can’t just force an attraction. You can’t just be attracted to someone just because “they’re nice” or have a nice voice there’s other things that come into play. His fan girls are too passive to say that they don’t find him attractive so they deny it’s even him.

No one said women couldn't have standards. The point here is Corpse fans do not have standards. Simping for a guy just because you like his voice is not having standards. It's a very shallow attraction.

Joji was pretty much the exact opposite, most people's first image of him was him leaning hard into greasy skin and hair, making himself as unpleasant as possible. Most people knew his face without knowing his name, and that face was basically as ugly as he could make himself. Then just stopped doing that and it's "Hey he actually cleans up pretty good."

No kidding, finding out pink guy/Filthy Frank was conventionally attractive blew my mind a little.

Finally found the quote:

"Think less Chris Hemsworth and more Joji, you know? I'm not this giant fucking massive human being with like veins popping out of my biceps. That's not me. I don't want to be that anyway.”

same video q&a had him saying something to the effect that if he really pulls himself out of his self-hate, he doesn’t think he’s attractive but he also isn’t ugly- but “I’ll never like how I look”

I understand what he was trying to do here, meaning he's not some greek god, but a more average looking guy. But why pick Joji? They don't seem to be on the same "level" of attractiveness either. At least I don't think Joji is bad looking. Then again Joji actually has talent and a personality, imo that puts him leagues above Anthony.

That's pathetic. No wonder his fans aren't normal people.

At least the comparison to Lil Xan made some sense.
