National Police has arrested a Seville woman accused of tearing and eating two fingers of her roommate, whom she also tried to open her abdomen to extract the guts, in a case that seems to be related to a practice of cannibalism and witchcraft .

As reported by Diario de Sevilla and police sources have confirmed to Efe, the event occurred last Saturday in a home in the Polígono Norte of the Andalusian capital.

Around 6:00 p.m., the Police were warned that a fight was taking place and there were screams in a house and when the agents arrived they found a woman on the ground who was bleeding profusely.

Also in the house was the six-year-old daughter of the alleged aggressor, who was a witness to the events.

The detainee is a 45-year-old woman of Kenyan nationality, while the victim is 48 and is Congolese. The Family and Attention to Women Unit (UFAM) of the Seville Police investigates the events.
