I recently read a theory making sense of this part. I've witnessed this overreaction in my own country as well as worldwide, and never had a good explanation.

The theory is that SARS-CoV-2 is man-made and was (to be) intentionally released as a very dangerous and deadly disease. TPTB had lined up lockdowns and societal changes to accommodate this very unfortunate and random outbreak. As with their simulations, the plans were in place and to be executed without hesitance. Except the manufactured disease turned out to be a complete nothingburger.

I know this is just a very shallow and superficial theory, but it hints at what is going on: a pre-planned show that has no proportionality to reality. It explains governments everywhere being overruled ('advised') by non-elected 'national response teams' demanding lockdowns, face masks, social distancing, silencing dissent, removal of non-approved, non-planned messaging, injections and boosters. All in lockstep. I love that word.

On a different note: I haven't been here long, but I'll keep campaigning that KF is a gem. The amount of discourse and varying opinions is a breath of fresh air. I am proud of what @Drain Todger is doing. It's an honor to post here with you.

I think the lack of information from China in the early fall of 2019 when authorities here started noticing something fucky was going on caused them to assume a much more deadly bioweapon had escaped (ahead of schedule that is). I think the bioweapon they thought it was actually was a respiratory one, and transmitted most easily by fomites on surfaces. Then later on when they had enough samples to know it wasn’t THAT one, well, you never let a good disaster to to waste.

This was my original theory back in early 2020, as to why the world over-reacted. I think international intelligence received word that a super-deadly virus was going to be released by a bad actor (possibly China) then the coof was accidently leaked, due to shitty containment practices, and the timing co-incided with the intel. The world governments shat their pants, understandably, and forced the lockdowns. Then when it turned out to be bad intel, or wrong intel, the governments couldn't say "Our bad, we expected millions of bodies in the streets", otherwise that would cause mass panic.

So instead, they didn't let a crisis go to waste and are now just trying out loads of different things to see what works best; AUS has the super lockdowns, seen nowhere else. US has the vax mandate of firing people, seen nowhere else, and the UK has a combination of sort of vax passports but not really, a soft approach seen nowhere else.

It's like the different vaults in Fallout; each one a social experiment.

So, Joe Biden allegedly got his third jab on live TV on Monday. He was already “fully vaccinated” and still wore a mask. Does that give anyone confidence in the vaccine?
Then he said that he would not allow us to return to normal until 98% of all Americans are vaccinated! While the CDC is sure to approve the vaccines for ages five and up before the end of the year, despite the hundreds of thousands of vaccine injuries and deaths, Biden must think we need to vax newborns the moment they take their first breath (if they are not killed and dissected, their body parts sold first as permitted by the Democrat bill just passed in the House).

Biden, as surely everyone knows by now, even those who voted for him, is seriously cognitively challenged. He was never a smart man but now he is non compos mentis. He understands nothing about science, certainly not the science of virology or epidemiology. He reads words from teleprompters others have scripted. He has no grasp of the meaning of the words he is reading.
The man and his minders are a plague upon America far more devastating than covid. Covid is the hoax on which they, the global elite, have hitched their wagon to, the pseudo-plague that will bring all of us rubes to our knees. Some Australian states have capitulated, devolving into a functional tyranny. Police attack persons on the street without a mask or even for leaving their homes.
Are those Stalinist tactics coming here? Quite likely in some states, despite the fact that all their lockdowns, mask requirements and vax mandates have made not an iota of difference in the number of cases of those allegedly diagnosed with Covid. The Los Angeles City Council just unanimously passed a resolution requiring proof of vaccine to enter all indoor venues, including grocery stores! This is madness. This is medical tyranny. This is not about anyone’s health. As Dr. Aaron Williams commented on Laura Ingraham’s program, “This is psychological warfare, not evidence-based medicine.” Are detention camps for the unvaccinated next?
The US is at a crossroads…do we fight or do we fall? How many of those on the left are actual believers in the covid hoax and how many are in on the plan, the Bill Gates/Klaus Schwab Great Reset Plan?

During the Civil War, the Union was able to successfully cut off supply routes to the south which aided in their victory.

It's a long term strategy, and one that's proven to work. However, with everything so politicized -and BLM are starting to snap at the hands that fed them- all of the elites will have to be on the same page before everyone gets segregated in order for this to even work.

A North Carolina-based hospital system announced Monday that roughly 175 unvaccinated employees were fired for failing to comply with the organization’s mandatory coronavirus vaccination policy, the latest in a series of health-care dismissals over coronavirus immunization.
Novant Health said last week that 375 unvaccinated workers — across 15 hospitals and 800 clinics — had been suspended for not getting immunized. Unvaccinated employees were given five days to comply.
Novant Health spokeswoman Megan Rivers tweeted Monday that almost 200 of the suspended workers, including those who had submitted approved exemptions, received their first dose by Friday. The hospital confirmed that the rest of the suspended employees who did not comply were fired, although the exact number of those dismissed was not specified.
“We stand by our decision to make the vaccine mandatory as we have a responsibility to protect our patients, visitors and team members, regardless of where they are in our health system,” Novant Health said in a statement. “We couldn’t be prouder of our team members who made the choice to receive the covid-19 vaccine and remain part of our team at Novant Health.”
Rivers told The Washington Post that more than 99 percent of the system’s roughly 35,000 employees have followed the mandatory vaccination program. She said in a statement that Novant Health was “thrilled” those who chose to be vaccinated have given patients and visitors “better protection against COVID-19 regardless of where they are in our health system.”
The mass termination of unvaccinated hospital system employees is among the largest of its kind to date. More than 150 health-care workers who did not comply with a vaccine mandate at Houston Methodist — one of the first health systems to require the coronavirus shots — were fired or resigned in June after a federal judge upheld the policy. ChristianaCare, a Delaware health system, announced this week that 150 employees were fired for not adhering to its vaccine mandate.
The move by the Winston-Salem-based system comes as some health-care workers continue to push back on employers’ vaccine mandates after President Biden announced sweeping coronavirus vaccine mandates this month. The president ordered all businesses with more than 100 employees to require their workers to be immunized or face weekly testing, noting that he would also require most health-care facilities that accept Medicare or Medicaid funding to vaccinate their employees.

But as hospitals have been pushed to their limits in recent months, the opposition from some health-care workers toward vaccination policies have further complicated an already difficult situation for the nation’s doctors and nurses.
That opposition has played out in New York, where Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) signed an executive order Monday night ahead of what could be a health-care worker shortage due to the state’s vaccine mandate that has now gone into effect. The order allows the state to expand the available health-care workforce at a time when thousands of workers are still believed to be unvaccinated.
“The only way we can move past this pandemic is to ensure that everyone eligible is vaccinated, and that includes those who are taking care of our vulnerable family members and loved ones,” Hochul said in a statement.

In North Carolina, the state is averaging more than 5,130 new daily coronavirus infections over the past week, which is an improvement compared to the previous period, according to data tracked by The Washington Post. More than 3,200 people are being treated for covid-19, including 932 in the intensive care unit.
About 50 percent of the state is fully vaccinated, trailing the national vaccination rate of 55.4 percent.
Novant Health introduced its mandatory policy on July 22, saying that employees were given until Sept. 15 to comply and get vaccinated.
“We agree with the North Carolina Healthcare Association, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and many other health care systems in the region that a mandatory vaccine program is in the best interest of public health,” the health system said in a news release. “Simply put, it is essential to ensure the safety of our patients, team members and communities.”
Novant Health has urged the community to get vaccinated. It joined other health systems in the Charlotte area in releasing data this month showing how more than 90 percent of their covid-19 patients had not been vaccinated. David Priest, Novant Health’s chief safety, quality and epidemiology officer, acknowledged to WGHP that the recent wave of covid patients had overwhelmed the hospital system.
“They’re tired. I’m tired. We’re all tired,” he said.
On Sept. 21, the hospital system announced that nearly 400 workers remained unvaccinated. Novant Health said in a news release that unvaccinated employees were given a few additional days to get their first dose.
“If a team member remains non-compliant after this suspension period, he or she will have their employment with Novant Health terminated,” the health system said.
Novant Health employees who have been granted medical or religious exemptions are required to undergo weekly coronavirus testing. While working on Novant Health premises, those with exemptions also must wear N95 respirator masks or other personal protective equipment and eyewear protection.
Some unvaccinated workers remained adamant about not getting immunized. Laura Rushing, a nurse of 16 years with Novant Health, told WSOC that the hospital system denied her religious exemption and that she planned to look for a new job.
“When they put the mandate out there, one thing I knew for sure was I was not gonna take the shot. So, I put in for a religious exemption and got denied,” Rushing told the outlet. “Who decided my religious exemption, the wording used was not good enough? It wasn’t as good as someone else’s? That just feels like discrimination and I didn’t appreciate it.”
Novant Health workers have until Oct. 15 to complete their vaccination and remain in compliance, the hospital system said.

There may be some protection against severe illness from the vaccines, but we should assume that this will also be short lived as 1) the collapse in antibody titres over such a short period and 2) the identical attack rate compared to the unvaccinated after 4 months strongly implies NO B-cell recall or T-cell immunity from the vaccines.

I was told that the Australian government were planning a 3 monthly booster program for nursing home residents and the severely morbid with a 6 month booster for everyone else. I thought at the time that this seemed very unlikely if not bat shit insane, but now I think it's probably true.

Even ignoring the high incidence of adverse reactions the fact we're doing mass vaccinations using products that are not just leaky but damn near useless is not just irresponsible but a crime against humanity. We're risking the emergence of resistant strains circulating among the 'vaccinated' which could land us with a far more virulent and dangerous disease for absolutely no benefit. This needs to stop and it needs to stop now.

Considering they have been finding evidence/genetic signature of the original strain from 2019, that is unlikely

It was a pretty hot topic a year ago and I remember an article a while ago, who came up with pretty good reasons why it's not likely a bioweapon leak.

Primarily, bioweapons are usually developed with an antidote or some other preventative protection ... unless the group wants global depopulation as the target
Even if they didn't develop an antidote, it should be designed that an antidote could not be developed easily.
There are dozens of vaccines developed using every technique known to mitigate the spread

It acts too slow to be effective ... they would have experimented on both highly virulent "and" fast acting, from the get go.
The majority of people are asymptomatic, especially the fit and healthy, and they recover.
Even if you design in asymptomatic spread, it should eventually affect the carrier.

It is targeting the wrong groups (old/morbidly ill people) ... you want to target fit and healthy

If it had anything to do with bioweapons, it would have been at a very early stage, where they are researching gain-of-function/chimaeras to come up with candidates.

Besides, gain of function was openly being researched, and supported/funded by (a now) well known cast of international actors.
