Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

In 1991 we got a shit-ton of lectures about respecting our Arab allies in Saudi Arabia. How they had a very strict culture, lots of honor rules, lots of religious rules. That we needed to respect them and not look down on them because they had an ancient culture and all that noise.

One of the first things we all saw driving out to set up the first Log Base was an Arab dude who parked by the side of the road so he could fuck a donkey.

Kind of set the tone for the next 30 years, ya know?

I recall a long ass power point about how you need to bend your knees and point your feet at the ground when riding on the outside of a vehicle because showing the bottom of your feet to a Muslim was an insult. My family has participated in every US war post revolution, and a number of conflicts throughout Northern Europe. That tradition will end with me.
