Nick did mention that Ralph had come to him for legal advice and that he was bound by attorney-client privilege not to disclose anything they talked about. I’m guessing Gunt thought that Nick would jeopardize his bar license in order to stir up some e-drama, hence why he sperged out as hard as he did.
