Plagued COVID Conspiracy Theorists and other idiots - This is not a political thunderdome or gay slapfight thread.

not to dogpile you, man, but if it's silly for anti-vaxxers to try and pick fights in here, then it's equally as silly to do likewise in their threads. also, it's probably not good to expose yourself to the farms' equivalent of chernobyl on a regular basis. you have to stay safe out there, brother.
Their thread isn't a community watch thread about pro-vaxers, though, it's supposedly a "general info" on vaccines.

It was announced in the Roosh thread that Roosh has covid symptoms, so I went to twitter and searched to see if anyone was talking about it. Sadly for Roosh, he is now so irrelevant that I found nothing except old links to his current forum that mentioned covid. Happily for me, the forum is hilarious. I present now a selection of advice tidbits that Roosh got about treating his high fever, chest pain, and other covid symptoms:

At this stage high doses of vitamin C is best. I would add thiamin, niacin, and NAC on top of your regiment––the b vitamins helped me get through it. Ivermectin should help you significantly at this point.
Other poster(s) already mentioned NAC so add Glutathione to your list of vitamins. Those two vitamins should help your lungs.
I've read back in the day Lugol's iodine solution was considered a panacea for basically all illnesses. I take it regularly, and rarely if ever feel ill.
I use a very old remedy called Swedish Drops or Swedish Bitter. Small doses every day and if I get sick with any flue like symptoms I up the dose. For a sore throats it is great to gurgle the liquid before swallowing.
You'll be fine, just like a bad flu. Start eating right (eliminate sugar) and getting plenty of sleep! We will all pray for you.
I would strictly avoid eating meat if sick with Covid. Red meat will increase AA [arachidonic acid] too.
If you haven't got any, order some quercetin asap. As mentioned, you need an ionophore for the zinc. And something that a respiratory nurse said in a video is worth a mention, as soon as you're able walk around as much as possible and exercise those lungs.
And MEGA dose Vitamin C, at least 10 grams a day until you feel better.

Take azhytromycin ASAP!
Also check all the things joe rogan took. Monoclonal antibodies, etc. You need to take it now before shit advances further.
You need to breath deeply. Really inhale as much as you can. And spit whatever comes to your mouth.
Punch lightly your chest and lungs. And spit whatever comes from it.
Gargle with aspirin and spit it out.

Roosh it's essential to do intermittent fasting if you catch this virus. I would do a wet fast with water and herbal tea only. Eat every 24 hours only. The reason for That is the body goes into autophagy when you do If. In healing mode. Also cut all sugars immidietly. Take zinc quercetin. Nac. Ivermectin and rooibos herbal tea and high doses vitamin D and C Thats what worked for me when I got covid. No fever for me. Only loss of taste and smell and headache!/fatigue

Please pray for Roosh, who has no choice now but to purchase hundreds of dollars' worth of supplements and choke them down by the handful while fasting while also sleeping but also walking around and also punching himself in the chest. At least he didn't get the vaccine, which apparently turns you into some kind of lich:

If you get the China virus, you will feel bad for a few days, but with the vaccine, you lose your soul and will end up being a walking dead. Even if the vaccine lowers the sympthoms of the virus (a virus they created), it is not worth selling your soul to the devil.

At some point, someone sensible does wander in:

If you have trouble breathing, you'll need to admit yourself to a hospital. If you have COVID, doctors will use a steroid to reduce lung swelling. You're young so do not panic.

Luckily, another moron swiftly corrects this heretic:

Yeah, and then he's dead under a respirator. MSM would have a field day: "Notorious rapist, anti-vaxer and anti-semite Roosh V dies from COVID (muhahahah!)". Do you think they would miss such opportunity?

It's touching that they think a random ICU nurse is going to recognize Roosh or give a shit. Even Twitter doesn't care about him anymore, and even his thread here is not that active.

I am sure everyone is also dying to hear the Roosh forum's advice on avoiding getting covid altogether:

The absolute best thing you can do is see to your own physical health in a natural way. Exercise regimen, keto diet, sunlight, minimize drinking. I do not take supplements but I know there are many excellent resources and quality products. Also I think socializing is good for your health in general. The "stay home" psyop was truly evil.

I purchased an assault bike and have been using it daily as a way to "prepare myself" physically in the event I get COVID (inevitable at this rate). Need to improve cardiovascular endurance. That seems to be the common denominator with people who have a rough go when they get sick.

The best thing I’ve found for good cardio, IF your legs are in good shape, is to get on a treadmill (to control the speed) and do 60/120 sets. You run at the highest speed you can handle for 60 seconds, drop it down to a brisk walk for 120, and repeat until you hit your distance target (I do it for two miles). Back in the day I was able to drop my two mile run time on a track down below 13 minutes using that method.

It's amazing that they think that apparently good lifestyle choices and cardio alone can defeat a virus, as if entire civilizations full of people who were in the type of physical condition they could never even dream of were not decimated by viruses in the past. The Antonine Plague (probably smallpox) wiped out almost the entirety of the Roman Army in the second century, but I am sure those soldiers just weren't doing enough cardio or getting enough sunlight!

it would still be wise to avoid interaction if all you see is a bunch of dweebs in a circlejerk instead any actual information. there's like, four or five threads crammed full of conspiracy rhetoric on the site, so it'd be safe to assume that anything outside of this thread will similarly get shit up with /pol/ immigrants who care more about being right than having calm, well-researched discussions.

America’s Frontline Doctors, a right-wing group founded last year to promote pro-Trump doctors during the coronavirus pandemic, is working in tandem with a small network of health care companies to sow distrust in the Covid-19 vaccine, dupe tens of thousands of people into seeking ineffective treatments for the disease, and then sell consultations and millions of dollars’ worth of those medications. The data indicate patients spent at least $15 million — and potentially much more — on consultations and medications combined.

Joke's on you, lady, I saw The Dark Knight Rises in college and my late-adolescent hormonal brain imprinted on ripped Tom Hardy in a mask like a newborn duckling imprinting on Konrad Lorenz.

Please rate me TMI now, I fully deserve it.

Also, why is she pretending to be black?
Her media tab on her Twatter is a goldmine of lunacy

all workforces have a code of conduct that uphold you to varying degrees of responsibility and standards, depending on who you're working for. the minute you clock in, you're already surrendering large portions of your personal freedom as part of a legal contract that if you do what your employer asks for [x] amount of time, you'll get money in return. once again, these fags are confusing democracy with anarchy.

that’s not the point. Australia is going super hard on lockdown and vaxxing everyone and people are still catching Covid.
Serious question, why won't you just start your own thread instead of shitting here? Think "Covidians" retarded and want to make fun of them? Make your own Community Watch thread.

We're all being grifted against our will. iirc, you said you do tech work for a hospital? Doesn't your employer collect a certain amount of govt money for every covid patient it declares? What is it again? $50k? More? At least the people grifting credulous bible thumpers have to put in a little effort rather than just taking the taxpayer for a ride.

The money is only for Medicaire patients that have it and it's so that they don't run out of money (since we're in a pandemic and all). It's an extra 20%

I'd say pushing dangerous anti-vax stuff and touting miracle cures (and in doing so grifting covidtards) is much, much worse

Anyone can get caught up in motivated reasoning, and there's no shortage of liberals, progressives, and other utopians who will throw money (usually other people's) at absurd grifts. What makes this one remarkable is the grift is working against the usual sources of conservative authority:
  • Received wisdom/tradition. Here we are a victim of our own success. With so many vaccine-preventable diseases eliminated in the 20th century, no one really remembers the urgency of vaccination campaigns.
  • Authorities. Granted, most of our public-facing authorities fall somewhere on the evil clown spectrum, but the overall opinion of respected, serious people who specialize in these things is to get vaccinated. But the evil clowns have poisoned the idea of authority so much that even the good ones are looked at askance.
  • Disidentification from the left. If nothing else, we don't want to be like those guys, the dirty hippies, loopy crystal mommies, and paranoid race hustlers still stuck on a 50-year-old medical experiment. But at some point many of our own people became loopy and paranoid. And not the good kind of paranoia where you stock up on guns and ammo, the bad kind of paranoia where you take unnecessary risks because you think safety precautions are out to get you.

I agree with all of this. Further to your point about authority and the lack of respect/recognition of it, it seems to be greatly exacerbated by the American political atmosphere. This isn’t a dig at the right or the left per se. Rather, it’s the way that the average American seems to get information. Their source of information always seems to be from members of the political party they identify with. Predictably, the political opinions of politicians on the right being against vaccines has convinced many people of the “reality” of an ineffective or dangerous vaccine, overreaction to covid, or both. To them, all information fed to them seems to confirm this.

I believe that most people do not know how to correctly gather and synthesize complex information, or to recognize good and bad sources of said information. Ask the average Joe their opinions on the vaccine, for or against, and ask them the source of their facts. 9 times out of 10, they will name a political figure. Nobody seems to say “well this year-long metastudy from the NIH involving 300 000 individuals led to the conclusion that X, Y and Z”, they say “Politician A of my party said that it’ll go away next month!”

I'd let him put his protein spike in my ACE2 receptors, if you get what I'm saying. Would definitely accept a huge viral load from this guy after direct contact with my mucous membranes, if you catch my drift.

Please just threadban me
Sure, or you could get yourself a big ol' OSHA-rated respirator-bear with a highly proactive stance towards infection control.

I'll post some content from the "other side" for a change, graduate students at the University of Iowa held a die-in because they want even more restrictions on campus and sent out a letter with 12 demands (only four of which apply to COVID really, the rest are about hours, resources, pay, etc.):

~70% of students and ~90% of employees are apparently vaccinated from news stories I could find, and there are sites for vaccination on campus, though it is not mandated currently
