I did some digging and I can’t find anything to back this up other than my conjecture, but when I looked up “Karate” Joe Wendt, there was another Joseph L Wendt, ALSO from Rock County Wisconsin that had ALSO had sexual assault charges against minors. This Joe’s birthday is 4/5/54, making him 24 when Karate Joe was born. Could this be Joe’s dad?

Karate Joe is the top result from 1999, the results under that are from 1998, 1995, and 1991.


The 1991 charge is 2 counts of 1st degree sexual assault, he pled guilty, and got 10 years of probation.



The 1995 charge was the state petitioning to label him a sexually violent person which was denied.


The 1998 charge was one charge of 1st degree sexual assault of a child and a child pornography charge. They tossed the porn charge and gave him 10 years in prison.

The 1991 charge was also amended to add 20 years of prison time.




It could be a massive coincidence that two Joseph L. Wendt’s live in Rock Co. that are 24 years apart in age and both fuck kids.


It’s hard to see a resemblance when Joe so obviously takes after his mom.
