Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Turns out that while larger animals like puppies and kittens could tolerate this cheap calcium, in smaller animals like Squirrels, this calcium could not pass through their system and literally turned to concrete in the baby's stomachs and killed them. Tons of autopsies done on dead babies showed that when their stomachs were opened, they were full with something that resembled a mix of concrete and wet sand.

For the rehabber community this was a horribly tragic time and I admit, I almost left it as well. But rehabbers are a resourceful bunch and many of the more chemically educated rehabbers helped to develop all kinds of formulas using various items such as cream and goat's milk to use as substitutes. More labor intensive but still better to the alternative.

On top of it, no matter how many cases of dead baby squirrels were presented to the companies they continued to deny that their new, cheaper Chinese calcium was responsible for it.

Nonetheless, constantly testing formulas and developing alternatives because of this has become a normal part of being a rehabber and is written about constantly on animal rehab forums.

It still is an issue - One website that provides supplies for squirrel rehabbers (Henry's pets) states in red that they're still seeing baby squirrels with calcium problems and to switch to homemade forumas or another brand.

A plan like that would take at least 10 years to complete. They'd be far more likely to just put untrained grunts to work as nurses and try to cover it up.

Imagine if any other kind of company did this kind of shit? Like if Toyota said to you "you need to buy one of our cars because if you don't we're going to call your employer and have you fired."

Sounds illegal, right? That's because it is (unless you're Pfizer).

I think in the back of Trump's mind, he thought either one of two things:

1) If he encouraged people to vote in person, the independents would vote in person and there wouldn't be these convenient mail trucks. A bad idea.

2) Trump might have thought that his own mail-in votes would be thrown out for "irregularities." That would at least make sense. I mean, I don't know if it happened, but I saw more than one idiot on social media faking that he was working the post office and throwing away Trump votes for clout/to fight racism. Trump might have been worried that his own mail-in votes would have fallen off the back of the post office trucks.

I'm almost certain there were votes that were subtly thrown out and disposed of - how was someone supposed to check on it? Dems knew their votes would be counted so they could easily mail shit in. The doubt about their votes being counted made it so that the DNC had to throw in all the fraud though...

I'm of the opinion the major fraud was all at the mail in vote counting. Not to say that there weren't spoiled and "lost" ballots, but they really don't matter in the grand scheme of things, much like the machine irregularities.

I heard the argument that Biden wants a legacy, something to build statues upon, the new FDR bullshit, and while politicians are indeed narcissists fucks, simple logic would say that the time and problems FDR was facing and today's global economy are not compatible for a similiar solution isn't that right? So isn't just being a capable administrator and responsible with the publicmachine isn't good enough for being president? Maybe get a head start on medi care, expand on obama care, I dunno, something more realistic and tangible, and I would think most of his cabinet would say something similiar right?

Instead this adm created this monster that makes no sense, and is set to be the mark of failue one way or the other for Biden, and i just don't get why.

Bill Maher discussed this last week on his show; the Democrats know that there is no chance for doing infrastructure piecemeal because McConnell will kill it dead in it's tracks for spite and malice. Bundling it all together along with an assortment of graft, bribes, poison pills, etc that won't be found out until AFTER it passes, has a better chance to get passed because the bigger the bill, the bigger the social pressure to make Congress pass it. With the added bonus that Biden DESPERATELY needs a win/something for the Democrats to run on in 2022 and 2024 due to the notion that the GOP obstruct like crazy while a Democrat is President, so he can't have anything to show the public to justify his re-election.

McConnel has expressed no opposition to smaller, more focused bills. And in fact has willingly signalled he'd pass smaller things.

Bundling it has less to do with avoiding McConnel, and more about needing to bundle it together to have a chance to pay off their debts. The pork -is- the intent.
