So if the Dems' spending bills fail, what's the most likely outcome for the Establishment faction? Could it collapse and cease to wield any significant power? What then happens between the Progressive and Business factions?
The Establishment seems doomed at some point whatever they do, since it's run by a bunch of geriatrics and all the energy among younger party members is for the Prog side. Among the Progressives, it seems that at least the base if not the leaders are true believers and want to turn the Dems into the party of communist drag kids. Could this approach to politics work outside of uber-woke cities?

Publicly, it will lead to the Democrats complaining about GOP and Blue Dog obstruction while screaming that Democrats need to vote in record numbers in 2022 to give Biden that super majority he needs to ensure he can tell the Blue Dogs to fuck off if they won't do as they are ordered.
Privately, it will probably make the need to cheat like motherfuckers in 2022 (and on the state level this November) and even higher priority. Expect Virginia to be subjected to a massive rigging to install Clinton's goon as governor since it was always a sore spot that Virginia was one of the states that defied the "shut everything done, fuck the lives we ruin and people we destroy financially" mandate of 2020 among blue states among Democrats. Expect a new upswing in Covid deaths to justify more draconian lockdowns to allow the states controlled by the Democrats to force mail in voting so they can get that super-majority or at least a couple of extra Senate seats so they can get he necessary numbers in the Senate to negate the Blue Dogs and get rid of the filibuster.
But I don't think we will see any major attempts to push Biden out until after the midterms. If the Democrats route the GOP and keep their majority/boost their majority numbers, then Biden will stay. If they lose Congress or even one house of Congress, then shit will get real and the big issue will be whether or not Biden resigns before or after two years even, since if he resigns BEFORE two years and one day, he'll be actively spiting Harris by killing her dreams of 10 years as President since what's left of Biden's term will effectively BE he first term.

They called in every favor, every bit of capital they had for the election. So that's a net balance of 0 right there.
Every single thing they have done after was on credit, every mandate, every policy, every EO, everything.
Now add in every crisis.

Blood red, if I had to guess. The whole """""infrastructure""""" bill they're trying to get passed is stuffed with enough pork to refresh their coffers should they succeed in doing so. There's no telling how rip-shit they'll get if it fails and Biden's admin are left as lame ducks while the Democrat machines in the blue states find themselves unable to pay off whatever debts they've incurred the last two years.

The way that all of those red-leaning states just fell like dominoes last minute was soo suspicious. I remember it happening in real time. The voting count would dry up for a few hours and then oop, a suddenly a dump of mail-in ballots which were 97% for Biden has now pushed the state blue by 15,000 votes.
It happened in Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, then Georgia being the final blow.
