MINECRAFT SERVER LINKS EXPLAINED (Simplified Edition)
So I went on a bit of crusade to find out the most likely way they connected up the JP x EN servers because I'm that kind of autism that likes to know how shits works. And I think I'm come to the most likely answer. Bring a snack this will be only slightly long I promise.

The Main Server Management Plugin
So I did abit of digging around and watched some of the latest MC streams in the hope that at some point someone brought up the coordinates page as it might give me a starting point to go off, which luckily enough it did. I found out that they are using the Spigot management software which gives them looooooaadddsss of options on how to manage the server and gives them endless choices of options and plugins. At least I know where to look now as this is only just the tip of the iceberg.

The Actual Linking Plugin
While Spigot is the overhead of the management part, it don't actually really provide the linking part of the servers, it just gives you the ability to do so easier. The main plugin that is most likely linking the servers right now is BungeeCord which is also made by the same guys that made Spigot, so these plugins basically work hand in hand together, which from a admin view is an absolutely fucking blessing as there is nothing worse that plugins/add ons that don't fucking agree with each other.

The Portals Plugin
So we have the servers linked now, but that don't answer how they join each worlds now, they only way they could do it right now is via commands which is awkward as fuck to do. Bring in the last plugin which I believe is Multiverse-Core which enables you to make any size portal of any kind and make it go to another portal in the same world or even to a completely different world. This also now answers how they get to the "Resource server" as it fundamentally exactly the same of joining of the EN X JP servers.
This was the most basic video I could find demoing the portals, granted he just shows the portals on the same world but you get the idea it can go to different worlds if wanted

A Crappy Diagram
I know I did a simple diagram for this in the past with a sort of explanation on how they would go about it, and bugger me I wasn't far off now but I didn't look into any of the technical side of it back then, feel free to look back if you want a picture to see it all and some predictions.
Thought id make a diagram as it much easier to see now. TAKE IT WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. This is just the "most likely" outcome i think how they would go about it. But the principle still remains the same

Some key things to note

- There is a "Bedrock Torri Gate" on each side of the server. So at the moment Torri gate on the JP server is where the Miko shrine. The "Resource" server one is on that beach bit where the famous Moona x Peko first interaction happened. Where they will put it on EN side is unknown yet.

- You ask why is this even happening as EN can get on both their EN and JP just fine. But the way this works is so they can bring their inventory's and stuff to ANY of the other servers. For example: Kiara goes to JP server, uses Pekora villager shop to get some high level enchantment books, is able to bring them back and store them in the EN server.

- EN cant get to the "Resource" server AFAIK and I think without going to the JP one first. They might make 2 gates on the EN server so they can choose to go to JP or Resource but that is kind of weird and a lot more awkward to do.

- Reason they have to do Ender dragon is because I believe the way this plugin works is part of how you get teleported to a different world when to visit the "End" and the plugin just points to a different server instead of going to the end. Hence why EN cant do any of this until they defeat the dragon and are technically at the same story point as JP.

- This was also technically impossible when the EN server first came around as that was a "Realms" server and not a "Dedicated" server which you can manage and change yourself. It only because of good ol Ame this is actually possible as she the one AFAIK hosting the dedicated server for EN

I also think while they was linking the EN x JP servers, they did some updates as the loading times for the portals are instant or much shorter. I wouldn't even be surprised if they did some slight upgrades while they had the opportunity as they already balls deep in management stuff

And I think that is how it is done, ladies and gentlemen. Of course this is all speculation, none of this is a 100% definite answer, but this is what I think is the most likely way they have done it, as it all ties up very nicely with each other. Hell they may have more small plugins that do random shit, but I'd never know what they ever were now.

I'm done, time for another coffee.

FFXIV Radio Mog Station Special Guest is Hololive Usada Pekora

Square Enix announced that Hololive VTuber Usada Pekora is one of several special guests that will appear on FFXIV Radio Mog Station. This broadcast largely focuses on information regarding Final Fantasy XIV. However, it rarely ever reveals new information. Instead, they provide a look into how each guest feels about their experience in the game. Usada Pekora will appear on the November 11, 2021 broadcast. These programs are exclusively in Japanese and will not have any official English dubbing. [Thanks, Gamer!]

Outside of Hololive’s Usada Pekora, several other guests will appear during the upcoming FFXIV Radio broadcasts. Producer Naoki Yoshida, or Yoshi-P, will guest on the October 14, 2021 broadcast. During that broadcast, Japanese model Soe Yoshii will be the special guest. Yoshi-P has appeared on several past broadcasts.

During the broadcast with Usada Pekora, she’ll talk about her experience with the MMO and answer one of the most burning questions. And on November 18, 2021 Yuma Uchida, the Japanese voice actor for G’raha Tia, will perform some of his favorite lines live. Questions for guests can be submitted through the official website.

Recently, Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi has begun playing Final Fantasy XIV and sharing his experience through his Twitter account.

Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

I never see Codemiko on my recommendation anymore for last months. Used to be having atleast one or two of her in it. What happened?
Not sure but hopefully I'm not the only one who thinks she is the most obnoxiously loud person in the universe.

Every time someone mentions FFXIV I get the urge to install it. Because it can't be as abysmally boring as I remember it to be if so many people like it. But it actually is so fucking boring. I don't know how any normal person could get through ARR and the ARR epilogue quests. Just so they can get to the "good bits" of the expansion content. That shit isn't meant to be done by mortal men.

It's all friendship and sunshine right now, but I strongly believe in a Minecraft war coming. It's only a matter of time.
time to start a betting pool then eh? Money's on JP. More experience, more war criminals/masterminds, more members. I can almost see it happening like Pearl Harbor, all of EN just minding their business and suddenly: explosions, lava towers, obsidian pyramids. JP has arrived and they're taking no prisoners :story:

Maybe they could have some kind of building competition, do a special event like the sports festival. Honestly I find Minecraft too boring to watch normally, even if the main draw is just listening to them talk and interact with each other, so something like a big collab would be a lot of fun.

The secret is podcasts or audiobooks while you play and skipping the story.

I'm surprised they chose Pekora given she doesn't play it. There are Holomen that play FF14 but I guess her brand power trumps knowledge of the game beforehand.

As for your gripes: If you're not a story person, you're free to skip it. I have one or two people in my Raiding group that don't know wtf is going on in the story, they only care about the mechanics and endgame fights.

If you do care about story and want to struggle through it, well that's a lot tougher. 2.1-2.55 is usually the 'Casual Filter' and even now they've cut 13% of the quests from that bloc it's still brutal to people new to the MMO grind/mindset.

My best advice is to not think of it as something you have to 'get through' and instead just experience it for what it is: A somewhat tedious grind balanced by plenty of stuff to do and read. If you go in with a negative mindset, you end up looking for confirmation bias in everything to reinforce it.

Pippa got a good placement in the tournament, but she is still punching above her weight. Good job.

Kiara getting kicked in the first round of both main and losers, lol. Iron Mouse got done dirty. As well as best chicken, Kana.
Holo EN Gen 1 is too strong for the most part. I'm surprised Callie didnt get through.

I had seen her posting tweets telling everyone to vote for who ever she was up against at the time, was not sure where it was taking place.
I thought that was some other poll. Wasnt Pippa up against Snuffy in that one?

Always found this culturally funny considering we Veneniggers and almost all South americans start chugging beer before we hit 15
