General GunTuber thread

He stated that he looked at printers from the US to all of SE Asia and it was either that none had enough paper due to COVID or did have the equipment to print the book as promised and he’s not willing to sacrifice the quality
It occurs to me that with the paper publishing world being as it is today, Ian's books might have cracked the bestsellers' list if anyone cared to track his sales. That's an odd thought.

Not sure if this applies as a guntuber but it is lolcow tier.

10/10 customer service skills.

Edit- If anyone wants to see the other shit they get up to, they like to get bad reviews deleted and openly insult anyone who has any criticism of them.

This dude seems like a real sped

You can't call him out publicly or he essentially sends his turbo simps after you. He likes to weaponize his community to basically harass people and anyone who gives any constructive criticism is called a Californian or a liberal.

Edit- So does that mean you guys want more?

Milk the cow til the udders are withered and dry.

So, I should probably mention that the Arizona Citizens Defense League actually runs interference for them and when called out as being grifter, they actually deleted that person's posts when they called out their shit.

I'll dig up the old screen shot of him claiming to be a 2A absolutist and then supporting background checks.

Give me a few hours.

Guy calls out Ammo AZ for shitty practices by posting the screenshot from Veerachart Murphy, the owner of Ammo AZ. The AZ CDL takes this post down, because his wife said that the "business funds backpage so therefore, they're pro firearms." The user in question is basically put on an admin approval posting limit which made them leave.

That sounds like Bullshit, what happened to the US based Printer that did Chassepot to FAMAS and who by all accounts did a great job of producing 5 or 6 different versions of it. They also let Ian into the printing works to sign unfinished sheets before they were bound, to save him from having to sign individual copies.. which seems pretty accomodating of them. This is incidentally a US based company that he never actually named or promoted even though he shot videos at their facilitiy.

What sort of process begins with a statement of "I care about quality"and ends with printing the books in China,.

ALso who would have thought that prining a book focused on China in the 1920's to 30's, in China, might cause issues??? Anyone?

Incidentally Ian produced a video asking people what make them give him more money on Patreon... In the comments people there were loads of replies stating "get a subscribestar" something that he's always refused to do untill now..

After a dozen copy and paste replies, stating that he was also on Floatplane. He finally accepted that whatever arrangement he has with Patreon was costing him money. So a few hours later he started a Subscribestar.

As promised, I got home, pulled the video, and here it is.

See above and make up your mind for yourself. Seems genuine to me

He wasn't kidding, though. There is a printing paper shortage going on.

The French rifle book was printed in 2019, before the start of the Endless Coof. Whatever printing house Ian worked with before may be either out of materials, marking up their services, or saving up what they have for more lucrative end-of-year contracts. Between having to print in China and dealing with tier national autism, and having to delay the book possibly indefinitely, he's made his choice. So while I don't personally like this outcome, I don't think it's bullshit.

It would appear that Larry Vickers's exquisite collection has been sequestrated by the bioluminescent archdemons.

Looks like the ATF glowing it up as usual but I wonder if his cancer took a turn for the worse and the ATF is just swooping in to 'secure' what part of his collection he wasn't able to hawk on gunbroker because he's got weeks left to live and let his SOT lapse because he doesn't give a fuck anymore.

There is no rhyme or reason in regards to the ATF. They would literally do it because they feel like it, and it's easier to make a half-assed apology and receive a slap on the wrist than it is to procure a warrant.

I don't doubt it's ATF playing fast and loose. I'm just wondering if Larry's near death behind the scenes.

Not sure what Ian expected from Chinkoids here, the CCP has a notoriously fragile ego and are widely known to censor or object to all manners of completely inane shit.
I could imagine if Ian was still on good terms with Karl, Karl would spew the "welllll acksually...." line about how the commies are only trying to censor things for good reasons.
