US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The easiest thing I'm reminded of is this speech: You'd be surprised how many don't know of it and what it heavily implies.

The Chink Businessman said:
Who helped Biden's son build the foundations? Got it? There are a lot of deals in all of these.
So they basically admitted that they colluded with Hunter. Why isn't this being played on every news outlet ever? (Rhetorical question is rhetorical).

Also coincidentally they mention having "old friends in the top circle of the US" so it seems many people talking about how it's old people running everything they might also be "old friends" of China and co. Even worse is IIRC that wasn't aired in China, that was aired in a university in the US itself and the fact they are this arrogant should make everyone's hair on the back of their neck stand on end. It means they have more control than many let on or know of. How far it goes is the big question.

44% of people are fucking retards for thinking that Joe is in control in the first place.
The media trained people to turn off thinking when keywords are used. Unelected bureaucrats running things = Deep State = conspiracy theory = you're dumb, compromised and must have been turned by alt-right extremism for even thinking it. They're indoctrinated, diehard believers, and their programming turns off their critical thinking before they have a chance to really consider it.

I remember reading articles in The Hill about Biden’s polling, and the leftists overrunning the comments section would gloatingly say shit like “LOL BIDEN AT HIS WORST IS BLUMPFH AT HIS BEST.” Those folks were clinging to that point for peace of mind, but now Biden’s approval is sinking lower and faster than they could’ve fathomed. I look forward to the day when Trump’s approval surpasses Biden’s and their sweating asses can’t even gloat over Biden having higher approval anymore.

Also, there’s this. (Article)

What do we make of this? Are we finally seeing the pandemic wind down? If so, is this the shot in the arm (pun not intended) that the administration needs to try and turn the page on all the crises, claw back approval, and hope that people “forget”? After all, Biden ran on ending COVID. More so than the optics of being able to get up on 9/11/21 and say “THE WAR IS OVER” (which didn’t come to pass lol), Biden/dems crave being the ones to get up at the podium and say “COVID is officially over.” Or are they dishonest in their reporting of COVID numbers in the hopes of creating some desperately-needed “good news” for President Mushbrain?

I wonder what’s to come in the fall, when states like mine face cold weather and more people are indoors? Maybe a fall/winter surge? The south generally sees cases rise in summer when more people down there are spending time inside, so the pendulum could swing back to us once we start retreating indoors.
Realistically, this was always going to happen, vaccines or no. Every pandemic in history follows the same pattern: peaks and troughs as it works through the population, until eventually it becomes weak and endemic and nobody cares anymore, usually after about two years. It's the reason why we don't worry about Spanish flu epidemics every year despite the virus still being around; it's much weaker and basically irrelevant to most people. (I won't go into the question of whether the leaky "vaccines" that don't prevent transmission might be making things worse.)

Now, the question of the political side of things is something else altogether. As others have said, it's been a perfect excuse for governments all around the world to seize power, something they're not willing to give up once victory is declared. Big Pharma doesn't want this to end either; once people stop being terrified of a glorified cold, there's no more market for their infinite booster plan. And Fauci wants an end to this least of all; he's got a massive messiah complex and relishes all the praise, and he also doesn't want people to keep looking into his funding of gain-of-function research that may have started this whole thing in the first place.

So again, the Biden administration is in a bad place. Declaring victory over the coof would get them some much needed political capital, but various interests have no desire to see the pandemic come to an end. It's a no-win situation that couldn't happen to worse people.

As others have said already, it'll vary from state to state, but true believer states like California have perpetual COVID. It will never be over until the mask mandate ends and no one in authority is willing to take the chance to lift it. Thus, even if the Feds declare it over, it won't matter because the masks have to stay on anyways. Thus, the political capital gained will not be sufficient to turn the Dems around. It might actually make things worse because people will just say--correctly--that the government arbitrarily declared it over when COVID is still around.
Each passing day as the recall percentages become more and more clear. The rest of the state is being held hostage by San Francisco and Oakland. The most fervent votes for NO are coming from there and the counties around them.

And Los Angeles. Really the entire coastline, what else is new? But as the liberals will smugly remind you, that's where all the people live, so let California remind everyone else of what happens once you let urbanites dominate politics.

It’s been entertaining watching the gatekeepers at Wikipedia twisting themselves into pretzels to justify keeping the Hunter Biden laptop story labeled as a “conspiracy theory”, even after Politico and several emails corroborated the leaks, and the NY Times quietly removed the word “Unsubstantiated“ from its previous coverage of the story

Changes may be coming to federal student loan forgiveness program

Federal student loan borrowers are cautiously optimistic about the changes that are on the horizon for the federal student loan forgiveness program.

"I don't feel like there's enough guidance on how to be forgiven," says Dr. Andrea Thomas. “So there's a part of me that lack faith in the actual process of it being forgiven."

The program was first introduced in 2007. The head of the Department of Education says changes to the program will include a review of applications that were denied and the entire process.

A time-limited waiver to allow past payments to count toward their loan will be offered to borrowers.

For military service members, active duty will also count toward the program.

Investment professional Mitchell Goldberg says with 1 out of 8 Americans carrying student debt, he feels overhauling the program is welcome news.

"It's going to help almost immediately, 550,000 people -- as long as they are aware that this program exists and that's the key,” says Goldberg.

The goal of the program is to forgive some federal student loan debt for qualifying public-sector workers after they've made 10 years of monthly payments.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) wants the Biden administration to cancel up to $50,000 of student debt for every borrower.

Goldberg is warning borrowers because of the political infighting over the infrastructure bill and social spending packages, to not count on that $50,000 forgiveness. There may not be a focus on student loan forgiveness.

"People should start preparing to make their loan payments in January. Do not wait,” he says.

This little tid-bit caught my eye:

I disagree. You might see that at the city level, but no governor is going to keep mask mandates in force without the backup of Biden's CDC saying they should still be implemented. If you get a scenario where Biden declares COVID over to salvage his approval rating, every west coast state is going to get rid of the restrictions if only to get the inland parts of their states off their back.

I think they can bury COVID simply because everyone is getting sick of it.

If Biden had come out on August 1st, and said "we hit our 70% goal! Restrictions can be mostly lifted; everything back to normal!" I think that would have been a "win" for the Biden Administration. Or at least not a cluster.

Instead, 20 months in and somehow restrictions are getting tighter. Mandates are becoming more widespread.

I think the general public is ready for the Biden Administration to bury COVID, but that would involve Biden pulling back on Hochul, Brown, and all these Dem governors on restrictions. THAT will be the hardest part; a hell of their own making.
What's going to happen is, the democrats will invoke the 26th (or let the Republicans do it) after 2 years, escort grandpa to a rest home, and install Kamala Harris as the first diversity check mark of her type to be president. They'll then lift lockdowns to make the blowjob-in-chief appear to be heroic in order to attempt a redemption arc to win re-election. I wouldn't even be surprised if Harris makes a remark effectively saying that "Joe was unfit, and thank God i'm here to save you all from it, yay democrats!"

I don't think they can wait that long because (1) that would imply over a year more of "COVID" and (2) the "red wave" will do that for them at that point.

The Dems REALLY need to get some Ws before the midterms or they are REALLY fucked.

Maybe, but i'm not optimistic of that. I think they probably could keep it going if they want to; they have the full complacency of the news media and every social media platform, there are enough people that are still waiting to get their facts from the big media news networks, and believe everything that comes down, to keep this going in tandem with the propaganda.

Coastal California, from Marin County down to the Mexican border, is, with many individual exceptions, the world's largest open-air insane asylum, from personal experience.

On the one hand, governments are loathe to give up power. And especially every urbanite who has been shitting their pants over COVID will not come willingly.

Then again, vaccines are reaching a level of faith equal to Scientology. Norway and Singapore have said "Fuck it, it is endemic." Supply chains are still fucked up. And the UN estimates the economic damage from lockdowns is 118 to 161 million people becoming food insecure. (Global death toll of COVID is ~4.8 million so for every life "saved" they basically slapped the food out of 25 brown people's hands.)

I could see them wanting to abandon COVID since it becoming a boat anchor to Biden's administration. And the longer it is around the more helpless his administration looks as people ignore mask mandates and vaccine mandates.

They don't need the inland parts. They don't have the population to overcome the votes in the cities, and the restrictions poll well in the cities. So what are they going to do, join Idaho? That won't even get to the US Congress, the D-controlled state legislatures wouldn't allow it.

Maybe I'm over optimistic, but I think for 2/3 of the country, COVID is already over for them. They got their shot if they wanted to, they will wear a mask if they feel like it, but they've basically moved on. I live in the non-NYC part of the state, and everyone here is effectively over this shit.

I really think COVID fatigue has hit a limit. Even Saint Fauci had to backpedal on his "I'm not sure about Christmas" bullshit. We see 60K people on Saturday and Sunday attending football games, but Fauci really tried to play the fool on seeing our families? Who isn't seeing their family at this point?

Most of the people that wanted the vaccine got it and have moved on. The rest they are going to try to force to get the vaccine by removing them from society, but the problem is that then they have to contend with their own BLM dogs because black people don't want the shot.

I think it's coming to an end soon in America. This crazy bitch Hochul can declare whatever she wants, but it can't go on much longer. Now we are starting to see legit problems with hospital understaffing and the like. They have pushed people too far, and they are becoming densensitized to the COVID IS SCARY GIVE US YOUR FREEDOMS bullshit.

Just a feeling, I dunno.

The last nail would have been the nurse firing. They -really- thought they could just fire them after practically making them saints? And then bring in the National Guard, as if military occupation of hospitals was going to go any way but poorly?

Like a sledgehammer to the already wobbling polls.

A MAGA republican in the house or senate would be smart to offer something like a good tax credit for those who paid off their student loans to point out how one sided this is. Remember last year when a normie asked Warren if he would get anything in return for saving and planning for his daughter's college and she replied "lol go fuck yourself?" Amp up the growing shift of the democrats being for the rich entitled white collar faggots and the republicans being the working man.
