I could be wrong, but assuming it is technically within a business's right to deny service based on jab status (like no shirt no shoes), I say let them.
Let them go broke from going woke, file bankruptcy and run away with their tails between their legs because of those sweet sweet Branch Covidian goodboi points. Even the small ones that were lucky to weather the storm of 2020.
The businesses that do not care about jabs will come out the winner in the end, just like most unvaxxed will if something bigger comes along.
A bit behind, thread's been moving and I'm only occasionally keeping tabs (I think the fundamentals we've established in this thread already are holding pretty steady).
Anyway the problem isn't businesses. Fuck the businesses. I've walked out of every single business that attempted to make me put a rag on (admittedly only a few have tried this in my area) and just gone somewhere else, sometimes literally next door. That shit's a joke and retail fronts are mostly for convenience since you can buy stuff online, and I've yet to find a business that sells "real" hard to get industrial shit that cared. You should buy as little junk as possible anyway.
The bigger problem is the public buildings, the government stuff. Courts, tax collectors, libraries, county and state buildings that house the offices you HAVE to go to, schools too, with no alternative unless you can do it online sometimes. I guess hospitals count even if they're mostly privately owned. These are the places that you can't really just fuck off from, and the most enraging thing is that they're PUBLIC for fuck's sake, they belong to the people. Taxes pay for them and their employees.
As an individual you are pretty much fucked into compliance. Where I'm at, the state has banned forced masking (and vax mandates) in public buildings but several counties have made "requirements" (they're not even 'mandates', they're literally called requirements because there's no legal force behind them). What this means is that when you enter a county building you are forced (illegally) to put a mask on. If you do not, the manager-equivalent or security can call the cops on you and you will be forced to leave under (criminal) trespass law.
They don't care that they're literally breaking state law. In fact, the state law was even upheld in a different county after a court battle, but the fucking shitbags in other counties are just like "haha oh well we're other county so it doesn't apply lmao". The cops don't care either. You cannot litigate with a cop. They get called, ask the gestapo manager if they want you off the premises, and kick you out. Your only recourse is to go to a lawyer and start paying, and paying, and paying. Everyone gets paid except you, the lawyers, the cops, the state goldbrickers, and the county itself - which will use your own tax revenue to violate state law and your rights.
Now, based on how the other test case went and how the state executive order is written, you'd eventually win. But how many thousands of dollars later? It would probably cost several thousand just to get it in front of a judge, and who knows how many more before it was resolved. It really sucks and you're fucked as an individual unless you're rich. I even considered taking up a case but I just can't die on this hill, the lolz are too costly. Mostly I'm blackpilled that other people with way more money than I have are just going along with it, and there seems to be no collective action.
This shit is basically the definition of balkanization. One state where the law is enforced differently depending on where you're at.
