General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Wait, I just got spoiled by a YouTube video, Rushia has fat titties!?!? Fuck this, done with hololive my immersion has been broken.

" Hololive Researcher"

This is poka right, I thought he was killed by Indonesian gangsters!

Granted, that's a feminist site, but it shows that the joke is obvious to native speakers, too. Based on that, my guess is チソ is used by some instead of チン to avoid saying or writing フルチン or ちんちん.
I got it. It's the same thing Katana does: changing the "n" sound to "so" (Kanataso instead of Kanatan) because their katakana are similar.

Rushia has tits, yeah. What should be more shocking is Pekora is downright 'gifted'. She pulled off a Hestia cosplay IRL.

Late first-thoughts on the Niji 3rd gen since the site was dead.

Love her voice but her "honey" is extremely annoying. I know she wants to play the mommy/milf type but holy shit tone it down. The voice and model are enough to carry that vibe. Maybe it was due to the nerves. Not a fan of the model, find it a bit too busy.

That opening animation is godtier. She has a good singing voice, and her design is top tier.

Enna Alouette

Holy shit she can sing. Her design is also a bit too cluttered for my taste but she's cute. I really like how she changes her voice (did it a few times in the collab with Selen Petra and Rosemi.

Reimu Endou

Another singing godess. Like her design but like the others she also seems to have way too much shit on her. I also like her personality. Really hyped about this one. She gave me latina vibes.

Noticed that almost all of them can speak 3 or 4 languages. French being a common language among 3 of them.

He could have made a career out of it if he wasnt a greedy retard. Tons of hololive fanartists are getting great work, bunch of them becoming mamas and papas of vtubers themselves. He could have been composing and remixing BGMs for holomemes and other vtubers, perhaps help on original songs, maybe even get picked up for some indie games.
fucking waste
Seems to happen with some creatives once they get a taste of fame. Its like they go crazy and start acting retarded and burning bridges. Not sure if ego or just being retarded.

Nene's alive, thank fuck, I was actually getting a little worried

wasnt twitter raging about her design being disgusting, gross and problematic?
Moot question I guess
Good

She seems pretty chill, though also pretty quiet.
I had seen a few of her streams. She's alright. Her Ring Fit stream was better than ASMR.

This is only tangentially related to vtubers, more related to idol culture. It's a very quick and funny read for anyone trying to parasocial their oshi.
Jesus. Not even sure who this bitch is but she sounds like a horrible person. Holy crap. Inb4 she offs herself and blames the harassment. Kinda feel bad for the poor bastard that had this happen to him. That said this would make a really good story for an NTR doujin.

The French speakers are Canadians (go figure). Enna, Millie, and Elira all live really close to each other too and hangout IRL, so we will start seeing the first EN off-collabs since the TakaMori one over a year ago I would imagine.

Honestly, with 6/10 members based in Canada I'd like to think they've at least discussed meeting up together for stream content. I know Canada is huge and all, but still.

Also yes, Reimu is Colombian. I'm not sure what the story is with Nina knowing Russian (I've heard her parents are 1st Gen Russian immigrants but can't confirm myself).

I guess Canadians make sense since by default they know 2 languages and if they are huge weebs they will probably learn a 3rd whereas it seems that US-based won't really bother with learning another language unless their parents are immigrants (or weebs).

Ah Colombian. She barely has an accent but you can tell there is something.

Something i didn't mention in my last post, but the whole lore thing was pretty cringe. Hell, even Selen was making fun of how dumb it was and how little sense it made. I like a little lore sprinkled here and there that they can use as an excuse to talk about how they like X or Y thing more but when they try to push it too hard it just feels dumb. Another thing I noticed is that these models don't seem to work well with mouth tracking. Since they are new to me it still takes me a bit of time to figure out which girl is which and when they joined the gen 2 girls, at some points one of them would talk and I couldn't figure out which one it was.

Canadian here. Only know one language,

Sounds like they live in Montreal, which is basically Canada's LA.

Known about 4 Canadians IRL. Two from Nova Scotia, One from BC and the other from Quebec. Just assumed that most Canadians would just learn French as a second language given the whole French influence thing.

To be fair, I think Selen grilled Millie's lore because she misspoke. Millie said she was homeless and living in Elira's basement, but also said the reason she knows Tagalog is because she 'lives in the Underworld' when she probably meant she's FROM the 'Underworld' (Phillippines) because she lives in Canada.

She actually labelled the second lore song she made 'Milliesanji: Episode 1' which implies she probably will expand her 'story' through silly anime shorts rather than anything serious. Though, as a writer myself, it's hard not to concede that the person who cares about your lore the most is you. V-Tuber fans don't really give a shit so anything beyond debut is a vanity project your fans may or may not be interested in.

Got it in one. Elira, Enna, and Millie are in the Montreal area. Rosemi talking about Pogos also alludes to her being in Montreal, apparently.

No idea about Nina and Selen.

No, we absolutely do not. I forget the exact number, feel free to google it, but the percentage of Canadians that know both French and English is like 17%, and they're mostly concentrated in one small area. The vast majority of us are forced to take French in school until grade 9, but then promptly forget nearly everything we know about it because we were forced to take the class and have no day to day reason to ever use the language. French is a nuisance to most Canadians and Francophones are a joke to us.

In general there's a hard divide culturally between Eastern and Western Canada. Eastern is more french influenced and Western is more english/americanized.

They also hate eachother. Makes me wonder where Shuba went for her homestay.

Nah, it really isn't so easy to cleanly divide the country. The Francophone colony is in the eastern half, true, but the places around it are as western hick as they come. The maritime provinces, southern Ontario and the western shield are just as anti-frog as the west coast.
