Except she says in the "Hanging Out Not At Home" stream that her "hair thing" broke so she decided to "just shave". It's around the 4:20 mark.

When describing how it happened in Hanging Out Not At Home, she used the epilator motions, said that it was grabbing at her skin and pulling it (something an epilator does, not a razor), said it was very painful and bled a lot. We've seen her use the epilator numerous times. I'm sure she doesn't clean it, which may add to the chance of a malfunction. She likely got high and distracted and left the epilator too long on that spot. Or maybe some other user error that is only to be expected from Chantal. She's also said she keeps it in her purse and that he makes fun of the hair on her face - so her using the device at Nader's is not a sign that she's lying.

Everything is a lie when Chantal is lazy with language and so many are rabidly waiting for her to lie about something, anything. If you want to claim that "cut myself while shaving" is a lie when she meant "damaged my skin with my epilator," okay I guess. The problem with this, IMO, is that there is absolutely a chance that it's some sort of infection from Nader or that it could be a pipe burn. But now there are hundreds of comments talking about how she lied about shaving, diluting the information/discussion about whether it is actually from the epilator or something more serious.

I think this is common sense, but FFG's ilk are foaming at the mouth to catch her in a lie, so they're focusing on the wrong thing completely. Is it from the epilator, a new skin infection, or a pipe burn? Who knows, and that's an interesting discussion to have - but it's not a lie because she inaccurately said "shaving" when she meant epilating.

That’s defintely a burn. If it were herpes it would likely have raised bumps and usually would not develop that quickly. Her claim to a razor cut is not valid because the lines in that spot are not even (anyone who has ever cut themselves shaving should know the multi line cuts usually are similar distance apart). Also, once you get a razor cut to stop bleeding, even when shaving delicate areas it usually does not get as red as that. While razor burn can cause a red rash, it usually also looks nothing like this.
Why is it more likely a burn? Look at the close up, look at the uneven effect on the skin and how dry it is. Look at how it has skin a peeling off of it. Anyone who has burned themselves where it was not bad enough to blister but still burns the surface would know often the day after it starts peeling like that.

Herpes and other cold sores from that family also tend to look way more gross than that, sometimes more like zits. They can look more inflamed, bloody, crusty, and with yellow/green stuff on it. It depends on the type. Most generic cold sores concentrated to lips tend to be more of the inflamed, crusty bloody type.
