A mass shooting at a crowded Minnesota bar early Sunday left at least 15 people shot — including a young woman who died — and “bullet holes all over,” according to local police.
Officers found a “hellish situation” when they arrived at the Seventh Street Truck Park bar in St. Paul about 12:15 a.m., cops said in a statement.
“In an instant, they found themselves caught in a hellish situation,” St. Paul Police Chief Todd Axtell said.
Gunshot victims were found inside the bar, on the sidewalk and in the street, according to the Pioneer Press. The woman, who hasn’t been publicly identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said she was in her 20s.

“I think about the young woman who died,” police spokesman Steve Linders told the outlet. “One minute she’s having a good time, the next minute she’s lying in her friends’ arms who are trying to save her life and she didn’t make it. I can’t think of anything worse.”
Three men, ages 33, 32 and 29, were arrested, CBS Minnesota reported.
“The suspects are currently in the hospital being treated for injuries,” Axtel tweeted.
Linders said the melee left “bullet holes all over in the bar” and that investigators would reconstruct the shooting and then “deconstruct everything to figure out what happened.”
A motive has not yet been determined.
The 14 other victims, who were rushed by medics to local hospitals, are expected to survive, according to the St. Paul police department.
“My heart breaks for the woman who was killed, her loved ones and everyone else who was in that bar this morning,” said Axtell.
