The halal tag isn’t used as an “infected by cow” thingy. It means that the subject of the thread was homegrown. They already had a farms account and sometimes their farms account is the reason they became a cow.

As far as her showing up to this thread, it’s already moving at an exponential pace. Every single time a cow wanders into its own thread, all farmers immediately lose their fucking minds and start flinging the post-equivalent of feces around for 20+ pages. The user base here cannot contain themselves and you end up with kiwis who bombard the thread with “pls pay attention to me, pls notice me senpai, arent I the most clever? I can say she's not really discussed in Canadian art history, and since I currently am without internet I popped into the local library and looked her up, I found one instance of her after a few hours, she was basically a footnote in an old text book they had from the college. "Frida Kahlo was an influential woman artist born in 1907, she is known for her numerous self portraits" under a self portrait.

I suspect she's a bigger deal in the US and Mexico than outside due to cultural reasons. The internet has plenty on her, but she seems, frankly insignificant. I sent some emails to highschool teachers I know, one said "he's familiar with her, but she's not a big deal" further showing her impact might be connected to culture and some people are over estimating her importance to those outside areas where that culture is strong.

Personally I went down the Frida Kahlo rabbit hole best I could and she's interesting, but if I've ever heard of her before she was just a name under a photo of her work with some blabbing about her being "a big deal because mexican woman" and immediately forgotten. I find her art, well uninspiring personally. I wouldn't blame anyone who didn't know anything about her beyond "this was painted by Frida Kahlo" to forget about her.

So Bonnie likely did hear of her at some point, but but likely forgot about her and knew little about her as a result.
